It's something I've really hoped for. I love the toddler stage, but in the same token, they also seem practically pre-school aged. Meaning, they're basically already walking/talking and doing their own thing. Basically there's no such thing as a "first step" or "first words" with them, what we're helping them with is…
Definitely around the young adult age for mine mostly. I guess for the most part people go for the "stereotypical" really elderly grandparents. But actually, where I grew up, a lot of families became grandparents in their 40's-50's (which I would consider the be the mid-age sim adult to be). Nowadays it varies though here,…
Shockingly yes, but it was only once and pretty long ago. Once my sim was on a date at a pretty fancy restaurant. Since I actually bought CL late and didn't do much homework on the new death, I randomly chose nigiri pufferfish as my sim date's meal. Oh boy...one bite and the music started playing :lol. It was kinda sad…
This is basically my experience and I usually use a normal life span. (minus the potty)As long as they have toys, a tablet, maybe another sibling/stuffed doll etc. I don't really have to push them. Ages ago,I'd race to get them all maxed through the parent sim(s) (super parent, what are ya gonna do? :p ). But after a…
The other day, when my daughter decided to play hide and seek in Target. It only took me 2 minutes to realize she was behnd the clothes rack. But boy was it was the longest 2 minutes of my life. Do you play any other games outside of the sims?
I grew up in a large family, and have a fairly large family of my own. Relatable I suppose  . In the sims, 3 is commonly the minimum, but beyond that? Sky's the limit :sunglasses: .
But every baby born eventually grows into a toddler, you can't skip that (well there's a mod I hear though). Even if you do age the toddler, that would still very much count since they were toddlers. Not to mention a lot of people got the old triplet glitch ages ago  . Add that to the 100 baby challenges, Legacies,…
That would be pretty fun for the annual toddlers and pools month  Also, I have to agree with the fact that they must be counting the CAS created ones. There's so many 100 baby challenges that even if someone attempted to skip toddlers it would still count since even for a second, they were toddlers lol.
My gosh! So glad I made it just in time for this! Went rather equally for men, women and children but got pretty heavy on the toddler stuff (the selection was just super adorable and very much needed lol). Didn't bother with the pets.
Dreamie: Well.. about a year ago, after becoming a superstar actress..I one day found my husband was eaten by his own sharks. It was mysterious because he always seemed to have had a bond with them...it was so strange that they would do that. Suddenly tabloids framed me for his death...and I became hated nearly everywhere.…
I'm mostly into fun chaotic family homes  . But it also depends on how much you feel you can handle. Sometimes I go by traits too. Also congrats on baby number 2
This is me all the way. I have a bit of a rule in my game: "Whatever happens, happens" for most legacies. Now for random expansion testing, I might tweak townies..but not as much.
Ever since TS2,I loved the idea of telling a sim's story beyond their original "forever" 2 states that never really looked like each other. Lifestages and genetics gave an even bigger playing field that I never imagined as a child who once played TS1. So needless to say, family trees, genetics, and overall life stories…
Hmm..I think I'm starting to see what's going on a bit. How about breaking up 'grind' times just a little? Like another person said, at times I plan ahead of what I'm going to do too. Like instead of spending the whole day, why not level grind for an hour or two each day? Before you start your grind, be sure to make the…
False. Although I have completed an 100 baby challege in my personal time, but that was nearly a year ago. TSBM is interested in trying a new challenge. ( @LyricSimsz15 thank you!)
I can’t imagine playing without them :D . Before they were released, I had a few families of six over-acheiving kids while their parents were also very suscessful with their jobs. For me it was waaaay to easy and I couldn’t really play for to long without getting hit from massive boredom. Ever since TS2 I’ve had a nack for…
Moments like this I really love 'MCCC adopt neglected children' feature. Like most sim iterations, once the adult sims die...it's game over. Usually, the kids disappear(unless their teens). So I'm really glad for a feature that gives the young surviving heirs a chance at a new life.
Very True. I play the Kingdom Hearts 3, Final Fantasy 14 & 15, Mystic Messenger, Life is Strange, and a few others. TSBM plays other music in the background while playing the sims.
Thought I'd be the only one here  . But like many others here, I enjoy the "cradle to grave" experience. So I basically explore each life stage throughout their lives. Starting ages vary on the beginning story ( grandparents raising a grandson, single mom, etc.) but any sim born afterward gets a full experience of…
Even though this thread is definitely old I'll add a little tip to it. Anyone who has the MCCC can enable the "Adopt Neglected Children" option. This will allow any child that's been neglected or all of their adult household caregivers died to be adopted by other families in the neighborhoods. This way if your sims have a…
Exactly! this is basically my thoughts on it as well. It's not about 'that's not how it was done before' it's about 'what could be done now' if possible. That's how ideas for the TS4 toddler started in these forums  . I love the ideas that inspired the freeplay babies update too. Adding to the "cradle to grave"…
I think the reason most believe Witches will be a GP is that: * EPs in TS4 are commonly all over the place and dabble with certain themes. There's bound to be a trade-off. A EP based on supernaturals would only lack(some of) them or their abilities to focus on another. This is why Vampires were said to be "the best" in the…
