Im well, thanks.
Had a bunch of computer problems last year, plus the Origin fiasco, so I hadnt been posting much anywhere.
But it is all good now!
Good to see you!
Oh that is so crap. I just tried it and it does not work. I do have all my discs around in a box somewhere, but what a hassle. I'll probably just upload my last world and leave the other half done ones in my imagination.
I have not been here in quite a while, but yes, I am still making worlds. I am currently working on four worlds with one nearing completion. Should be ready by the end of this month. (March).
I had to buy it twice. I bought it when it first came out. Then a couple years ago, with a new PC, I went to download it again but it was exclusively packaged with another item. I could not download it without purchasing the whole package. :'(
Check out My Studio for San Debeech. It is a city with a upper class area, lots of beaches and a mainland area. There are also secret caves/tombs with treasures.
Hiya Reg! Long time! Plus I agree. I just got this game, and am already bored. The towns are VERY small with nothing to do in them. I found just keeping your sim home and grinding skills to be most efficient at job advancement. Social is easy to control when everyone in town parades past your front door all day. Just walk…
Wow, very nice! I had to abandon the finished Alcatraz due to CAW crashing whenever I worked on it. The whole thing was taxing my poor old computer too much. But your version of the island looks perfect! Well done!
I do my own style of Legacies. Epic Legacy is on epic timescale, and I will often have an author and a painter as founders. By the later generations, those paintings in the basement are becoming quite valuable! Speed Legacy is on Short timescale, and will often be composed of a doctor and a cook. For no particular reason.…
I think its some glitch with Ambitions careers. Ive seen this withn Firefighter and Ghost hunter both. It happens after doing a job there. I may also vaguely remember it with the Home design career too. I believe if you save, exit to main menu, then load it back up, it should be fixed.
Im a hetero male and I almost always play my single simself. I populate the world with attractive females AND males, and try to get my simself to find the perfect mate before some other guy gets her.
I accidently upgraded to 1.69. CAW broke. Origin was suddenly full of pop-ups, (DNS Unlocker, I hate you). i couldnt run the game. So after getting a new McAffee and AdBlock, editing files I probably shouldnt have, I got it all working nicely. Origin pops up, and I go offline. Then hit play. Everything is rosy now.
I played TS4 for a couple hours. My sim starved to death because he could not cook. I also didnt like how the entire town had to parade in front of my house. I play the heck out of TS3. The big deal here, is that EA has an incredible opportunity. They can split the series into The Sims, and The Sims lite. A standard…
Ive got all EPs, and I think Pets is my least favorite. I like pets themselves, I do not like horses & deer traipsing around my town. WA introduced tombs. I put tombs into almost all my worlds. Its fun. Nectar making could be a game all to itself. Ive played each of the performance careers, and they arent bad. Almost kinda…
Ah yes, the 'Perfect World'. I fell into that trap as well. My Sim Francisco is nearly such a place. Once I figure out how to get CAW working again, I will finish it. Most of my worlds are attempts at 'perfection', (too many houses, not enough lots, too many parks, you get the idea), but always fell apart when the next EP…
