I have the new ones but did some tweaks with things that I prefer from the old ones. I gave Cassandra her original haircut and gave Alexander a massive makeover so he doesn't look that ugly when he ages up.
I usually play 3-4 hours per day (more if I'm building a house) but I'm very inconsistent when it comes to The Sims: there are weeks where I play a lot and then I will abandon the game completely for weeks and then come back, and so on. It's always been like that, I don't know why. But I read that it's a rather common…
You posted mostly pictures about Greece, that's way too specific (and cliché). The vast majority of Mediterranean cities and areas don't look like that, not even close. Ever been to Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, etc.? Tartosa actually looks like an average Mediterranean town, of course it's bland if you think that…
Maybe because many (or most?) popular Youtubers/streamers and game changers are builders? They will love and promote the pack a lot more than a CAS/etc. pack. Don't know, it's just a guess.
So far my favourite is Seasons. But Cottage Living could be the new one, honestly. My least favourite is Batuu hands down. I kinda regretted buying Home Decorator because I actually never use the furniture in it, it's just not my style, too boring and bland looking.
Snow arrived at Henford-on-Bagley. I had a bit of snowy fun with Agnes Crumplebottom...and yes, she was cool about it, we even played a bit with snow in front of her shop. It was hilarious.
The Sims 1 had something similar. Depending on which you destination you chose the loading screen changed with the corresponding vehicle that you took. Pretty simple but I always found it cool.
I love it! I feel that this pack was less hyped online than Home Decorator (which was rather a disappointment for me) and I'm having way more fun playing Cottage Living. I adore Henford, the gameplay feels fun and not so easy that it would become boring too fast.
I agree, it would make a mess both on the ground and in the machine...and you would have to instantly change your vacuum filter bag because of the smell. :s
Sadly I doubt it. Many lots in The Sims 4 aren't even connected to a road (expecially in Sulani, Brindleton Bay, Windenburg and now also Henford). Of course the car could disappear in the Sims inventory, that could technically work, but it would look rather silly and unrealistic.
It depends. If it makes sense for the sim, then yes. This for additional "likes/dislikes" that are triggered ingame, I usually set the ones I want in CAS.
My main sim's story is that he is a former homeless, but I honestly never thought I could play it ingame, what a shame! I could do a few "flashback" screenshots though... thanks for the lovely idea! :)
Yes, it's necessary and has always been for me, since The Sims 1. Base game just feels limited without DLC. I usually buy all the packs because I always find something that I like on CAS or buy mode, even if I usually wait for the "less interesting" packs for a sale. Not going to buy Batuu though, ever.
Discover University. I have it but I never really played it (yet) - I got it on discount so it's ok, it's just not the playstyle I'm interested in at the moment.
I usually use CAS and build objects from every pack available. The only exception is Batuu, I couldn't find anything that I would use and I don't care about the gameplay, so I didn't buy it and I probably never will.
I also play with aging off because I never want my favourite sims to age up and die. They become memorable because of the stories I think for them and the things that happen while playing.
I live in southern Switzerland, very close to Italy. Summers here are usually hot and humid too, in fact palm trees and even banana trees are common here, expecially around the lakes you can grow tropical plants with no issues (sometimes it snows in winter but they usually survive). It's fun because we also have very high…
I mostly create Sims with unique looks/personalities but then I like them so much that I cannot let them die, so they are basically immortal. :D I also like to build dream houses but in the end my builds end up looking rather similar. :)
No! I don't want The Sims to become a multiplayer game. Multiplayer brings toxicity and The Sims being a solo game is one of the reasons that I love this franchise since 2000. If TS5 will be online, I will stick to TS4 forever.
