Sims 2 had a relationship tab allowing you to filter relationships for family relationships only. Sims 4 only has one for household, so you cannot easily find a cousin or uncle without having to dig through the generic relationship tab.

Man we've been hearing that since 2015. On a more serious note, they're probably skimming over the quarterly teaser to promote their EA play or whatever it is and raise interest in it since people will have to look there if they want more info about upcoming features.
