  • I really love (most) Supernatural sims. Especially vampires and witches but I've had a lifelong fascination with them. First EP I got for TS3 was Supernatural. I love them mingling with regular sims in suburban environments. I love the escapism of it. I also wish the more dark or gothic elements of the game were more…
  • That's such an awesome idea! A fun thing I've not yet done with Supernatural, which I've had for two years and want to do at some point, is create a dysfunctional household of every life state, where they're all in conflict with each other and there's just one random human sim who walks in on their arguments occasionally…
  • You're welcome! There's some wonderful stuff out there; I was really pleasantly surprised at the amount of goth and alternative custom content when I moved over to TS3 a couple of years ago - I hope she likes them! ^^
  • Moonlight Falls. I don't have much to compare it against as the only EPs I have are Late Night, Supernatural and Generations and I don't have any store content (and Bridgeport lags to unplayability even with fixes for me), but I love it because I can relate to it. Everything from the foggy weather (I live in a British…
  • @Springfairy556 You're welcome! I don't think you need an account to access GoS, the items are located on the forums themselves for the most part, but I think I might have linked it really badly! Try this one, I always get a bit confused when trying to access it from the homepage to be fair :D
  • As much as my favourite ever sim is a witch, the point from me would have to go to vampires.I like to make it so my vampire sims only drink plasma juice as a very last resort, meaning they kind of have to drink from other sims which can make for some very interesting and occasionally darkly-tinged gameplay that never gets…
  • It does depend on the sort of thing you're looking for; I mostly create male sims and lean more towards making goth and otherwise alternative guys too, but here are a few of my favourites! Garden of Shadows is always the first site that springs to mind for me:…
  • I'm not sure about pregnancy, but I recently used Porter on a couple of families and they kept their rabbit hole careers so long as the rabbit hole for that job was present. I think performance is reset, though.
  • Here's my simself from my last save, he doesn't look much like me (I'm pre-everything trans so in real life I'm a lot smaller and feminine looking whereas he's more androgynous than I could ever hope to be), but he has my style and I guess is what I want to look like at some point in the future once I've finished uni and…
  • Predominantly the above, but definitely a combination. I do have a few sims based off real-life bands, so that they can go around the clubs in my towns and become celebrities. In my last sunset valley save I had Louis and Lestat from The Vampire Chronicles move in and take over all the town's businesses, but I sadly can't…
  • This was my second attempt at creating the fantastic 80s goth band Bauhaus (or as I affectionately call them,"the cheekbone band"), because i'm a filthy goth and they're my favourite band ever. (I've since lost the first attempt which was using all basegame stuff and no cc. This was basegame and minimal CC, I believe): I…
  • I also love the vegetarian trait. I'm a vegetarian and my favourite meal is halloumi and chips (vegetarian fish and chips) so the fact my sims can have that ingame is fantastic.
  • Never nude...I don't see the point in it. To be honest, Vehicle Enthusiast comes second. I had a sim based on a person in real life who was heavily into motorcycles so I thought that trait reflected him a little, but it didn't. It did nothing essentially. If I had ambitions maybe he could build a relationship with his…
  • Drab Majesty - Hollow. My best friend is currently seeing them live and I'm very upset I couldn't go. :'(
  • I tend to rotate between lots of different families to have complete control. Much to the anger of my computer. I'm too protective over my OCs (they're my babies) and sims I've made inspired by TV show characters and celebs, and I want complete control over EA sims, too. My save's likely to corrupt soon.
  • So many of my sims are in bands and they make money that way, so I guess self-employed. I need to get ambitions so my sims can be formally self employed. I've been through the music and film careers way too many times (I hate the thought of "normal" jobs so I guess I project that onto my sims).
  • I left a vampire sim outside for about two seconds too long, sent him in to have a drink, his thirst motive was dealt with, but he still died of thirst? Fair to say I quit without saving in order to resurrect him because honestly I don't think that was fair.
  • Life Stories was my gateway to the series as a little kid. My mum would only buy me that because it was cheaper and wouldn't kill our laptop haha. I pestered her enough to let me buy The Sims 2 eventually.
  • This makes me regret not playing Bon Voyage all that much before the computer I had that could actually play The Sims 2 choked. I loved Twikki Island a lot from what I did play though, but Three Lakes was gorgeous, I remember it was perpetually fall there or something (i might be wrong) which is awesome
  • I think a few my sim wrote in my last game were: The Adventures of Cthulhu and Friends Cthulhu and Friends go to Taco Bell Star Wars Episode II: Intergalactic Boogaloo My Life as A Halogen Oven: A Memoir
  • 1.74 GB on my packages, and I usually convert my Sims3Packs to packages, so much less than I thought! I do download new stuff pretty much every day though...
  • Hardly ever! At the end of a play session normally, and my play sessions often last around 12 real life hours. I really ought to more being as I switch between families all the time. Yes, I'm the literal worst.
  • Sims logic combined with routing issues is always fun. Playing as household of 4 dudes: a couple and two brothers. Sim A wants to give his boyfriend (Sim B) a kiss Sim B is, what, four steps in front of Sim A Sim A instead decides to walk up the stairs, into the bedroom, and clip through the floor into the downstairs…
  • I always always always picked the knowledge aspiration back before my dear Sims 2 laptop packed in. I only think I ever made one or two sims with different aspirations over the eight years I played to be honest. I just found the wants on that were mostly skill-based and that really got my sims ahead in careers and at…
  • When you're reading a book and you can only picture the characters as Sims as opposed to actual humans Who am I kidding, Sims are actual humans? Right? Also when you spend 3-4 hours creating each Sim as each and every detail has to be perfect.
  • I'm currently playing My selfsim and his boyfriend crashed Iliana Langerak's party and his boyfriend skinny dipped in her pool. Iliana then joined in and he stole her clothes.
