It's live action. Very self-aware and aimed at teen+ audiences rather than children. And yes, the Sims4 already has a lot of bubblegum pink clothing, so it would be easy to make a DIY Barbieworld.
0-20 years old baby toddler child teen 20-35 years old young adult 35-60 years old adult 60-death elder -edit If it were a free update I wouldn't mind, but I wouldn't buy the pack/kit for it
Every once in a while I post a poll with new ideas for packs like this. I usually include some sort of sports pack. I'd like to see anything from a team sport like volley ball (Sims 1) to the acrobat career in TS3. Even different forms of dance would be welcome.
This really crystallizes some my ideas. I enjoy additions to the sims games that make a change from the daily grind. I've always enjoyed any of the vacation packs from TS1, 2, 3 and 4, Sims Medieval, Into the Future. Even the active careers are a nice change from washing dishes and taking out garbage. BTW, I once visited…
It could be anything that was music based, the camp part isn't important. New venue types could be added where you could meet other musicians and form a goup. Something long the lines of TS3 Showtime. Even a recording studio.
I just read an article about video game fishing. It mentions that back in 1993 Zelda had a fishing mini-game in it, Animal Crossing made it a big thing in 2001, Sims 2 introduced it in 2007. Basically, it's a popular mini-game for lots of games. Now it's almost a running joke, making a new game? Better include fishing. The…
The first thing in TS2 I discovered was my sim liked looking through the telescope. One night SURPRISE! he got abducted and then had to learn how to raise his twin alien babies.
I treat aging much like I treat seasons. I like the passage of time in The Sims to resemble real life. The saves I play are all in summer right now and most of my sims have only aged up once since I made them (or not at all).
When I think of which pack I find essential, I think about the worlds that came with the pack. I want my sims to be part of a community. So for me it's City Living because the plaza in the Spice district in San Myshuno is the only place anywhere that feels like a real place where other sims live. Other worlds have…
when I first played the game the 2 hour showers drove me crazy. But I realized the the 2 hours represented a real life activities like hygiene, shaving, hair and makeup, toenail clipping. So, when you think about it, sims appear to walk, talk etc. in real time and yet their day lasts 24 minutes. How do you make a game that…
I'd love more instruments in the game, especially if there could be some inclusion of performing like busking, bands, chamber music (even an orchestra!). I've made a few polls here about new ideas and unfortunately a music pack polls behind things like farms, romance, medieval, carnival/theme park. TS1 had music recording…
For me the main deal-breaker (do you mean deciding to buy a pack?) is activities. They like adventures, active jobs, skill building. Since I have already done enough laundry, dishwashing and vacuuming in real life I don't especially want to do those things in a game. And I guess I'm one of the few players who really enjoy…
The reason a made it a recreation reenactment type thing instead of a different world is this: I don't know how easy it would be to disable basic parts of the game like cell phones, most items in build/buy, maybe even travel to other worlds. If they could do that, I'd be happy.
I didn't include it because they're already thinking about it. There's been a poll about farms and comments by a simguru on twitter. That's not a guarantee that we'll get one, but they know.
I'd be happy with any of these. It would be great if they made separate packs for the different eras (I doubt if they would have multiple time periods for one pack). The question arises, how to do it? Vacation spot? Hidden world accessed via time travel? The set-up for Batuu is pretty perfect for this kind of thing…
Hi, welcome to the Sims. When the first game came out 20 years ago, the characters spoke this gibberish language. This was probably to make the game more universal. Not only that, but this allows the game in have popular songs by the original artists, but in Simlish. I'm pretty sure the royalty payments are less expensive.…
I think this is it. EA is appealing to younger, everyday street fashion conscious players. I just checked my game and found 10 male tops with a necktie or bow tie. I also found 10 male tops with SCARVES around the neck. I have only know one guy who regularly wore a scarf, a fashion model who was starting to "age out" of…
I don't think we will get them. In the 6 years that TS4 has been around, new lot types were added with game packs and expansion packs. Since the Vampires pack didn't include anything like that and neither did ROM, it's hard to imagine what kind of pack would include cemeteries. Farming pack? Romance and Marriage pack?…
I have tried a few mods but I've either uninstalled them or not reinstalled when I changed computers. I guess I've never found a mod that I wanted to keep.
