I play my simself but not generationally, only for challenges. I'm currently using her as a hotel manager in my own play through of DrGluon's hotel challenge. Though even then I wouldn't really count her as my simself because her name and traits aren't me, just the face.
There are! There are fishing competitions, BBQs, and I think one other one. You don't get notified of it though like with festivals (I wish you did) it just pops up in game.
Hmm, that's odd because most of my sim's guest sit down during weddings. My only issue is that while the sims are exchanging vows and actually getting married, the guests are still making there way to sit down so they basically miss half of the ceremony.
I have only one main world but multiple save files of that world, if that makes sense. Instead of overriding every time I save, I do "Save as..". That way in case something goes wrong in my game I always have backups. Also it's good for reminiscing purposes.
While I'm playing my game I have to watch something. I usually switch between whatever I'm watching on Netflix or sims let's play. At the moment it's James Turner's SEMAJ Get Famous let's play.
A while ago I had Erwin Pries show up where ever my sim was, like when she was in Selvadorada he showed up out of no where at the temple and again at the pool lot. I did have her give him an apartment key too so maybe that's the bug?
The only one rule I have for myself is no money cheats. I am trying to implement not changing the appearance of any off-spring (except for adding skin details) though.
My simself has 4 semi-active relationships (out of pure boredom on my part) with Bob Pancakes, Marcus Flex, Patchy the Scarecrow, and Diego Lobo. All except Patchy have partners and in game Marcus was the one officially declared as her boyfriend simply because Lem had a whim for it. I was gonna have Lem woohoo with all of…
Usually if you're paying by phone you have to pay attention to make sure the payment actually goes through. For me, the bug only occurs if I speed through the interaction so I always have to be at the 1x speed whenever I pay the bills.
Usually I have them at the hospital to get the birth certificate but if the game does the bug where the sim in labor is standing at check-in and the doctor is outside the hospital standing idly, then I have the baby at home.
My profile picture is my simself but in my opinion does not look like me at all. The only similarities are the glasses and maybe the nose but that's it lol.
I've only recently decided to redo my mods folder. Now I'm strictly using CAS custom content and mods that fixes bugs or doesn't change the game too much. My previous mod folder had 6gb of CC (2,768 files) and now it's currently at 808MB (461 files). My goal is to one day only be down to just mods and MCCC but.. one step…
I'm equally excited for both but since I know what's coming with Island Living, the suspense of not knowing details about RoM is making me crave it more. Plus, I'm curious to see how they're going to do the magic system.
It depends on my mood and what I'm feeling for that particular gameplay. Before I purged most of my CC, my previous household was an alien/sim couple that had a toddler.
"Become a conservationist, clean up the beaches, and watch your Sims’ impact bloom all over the island. Take to the waves in a fishing or diving career or become a lifeguard to keep the locals safe under the sun. No career? No problem! Sims can do a few odd jobs or fish for their next meal." From this description there…
I used to only have CAS custom content and mods but then I recently got into build/buy custom content again. I don't think I could ever be fully vanilla but I wish :(
I usually did that in TS3! I don't know how easy it would be in TS4 though because I think you can only paint from reference and not actually paint a portrait of someone.
