I don't necessarily find it creepy but what I really get annoyed with is when your child sim is best friends with another child and you plan that they date when they are both teens. However either your child or the other ages up earlier and the relationship is not so cute anymore.
@navysealgirl That's definitely a good idea. One I will most likely try as i just started this legacy. I feel like it's promising so far as I like every sim in my current legacy. Blogging my sims and my legacies is something I have thought about doing for a while and is most likely a very good way to keep track of how I…
I have done up to 12 generations but not since The Sims 2! I find that I start to get detached from the sims in my later generations. Maybe if I took the time to create a family tree outside the in-game one that listed details or maybe small photo albums of each member (obviously this would be a lot of work and I am a tad…
The babies in The Sims 4 all look the same to me (except their eye/skin colors). I would have liked genetics to play in a bit more but I'm not a huge fan of the babies in The Sims anyways.
I generally have kids in young adulthood. I make it so hard on myself lol I am too impatient and find a mate and have a child so quickly they are usually dirt poor and it ends up making me frustrated. I also have trouble only having ONE kid. After the hard years with the first one I for some reason think it's a great idea…
Wow you guys are awesome! I kind of wish I didn't find this thread right when I got to work because now all I want to do is play and make my own lol. I know what I'm doing tonight :)
1. From Sims 1, 3 and 4 I definitely hold more interest with the addition of EP's and DLC's. More motivation to play. With the exception of The Sims 2 base game simply because I thought the Sims 2 Base game brought alot to the table compared to the Sims 1 base game. The sims 3 felt the same just with an open world, I got…
For myself, no matter which Sims series it was for, there were EP's and Stuff Packs that I was more excited for than others. I wouldn't say my excitement for new releases is completely gone with the Sims 4. I was probably the most excited for GTW so far. My expectations have been somewhat lowered since the release of game…
Currently I am on Generation 6 of my Legacy. I finally tried gardening as my focus and got my first Sims 4 cowplant. It died shortly after as my sim decided to have multiple children... Theres a cowplant carcass in the middle of their backyard and I don't know how to get rid of it...
I want to so badly. It will depend on how busy my work day is and then I can kind of determine how the rest of my week will go. I'm willing to sacrifice at least one day of no sleep before work. Caffeine is the answer.
I am at work and I had to control my excitement. I was almost in tears I am so excited to go home, patch and play. I was going to go to the gym tonight but..... this is way more important lol
I want this EP too! I really hope they make or 're-make' an IP themed EP that runs smoothly. I was so excited when I first got IP and then incredibly disappointed with how it ran. I basically stopped playing that world because I couldn't stand the lag and other issues it had. That made me very sad because I loved the…
Oh man.. I was trying so hard not to get myself hyped up for pets just yet but I absolutely cannot wait! I miss the horses! I wonder if there would be another neighborhood with a western theme again..
I wish I had access to my computer at home right now I have some awesome screenshots. In my experience so far I haven't been able to throw a very successful wedding party at a house but for some reason whenever I throw the party at the park, I always get a gold medal.
I really like the art style in the Sims 4. I think it suits the sims so well :) the way they are done makes them full of expression! there are so many beautiful screenshots of in game play that I love.
@Ikajo Thank you so much. I really needed a post like this. Lately i have been feeling so sad about the game and the forums don't help me feel any better either... After reading this I realize I really have no reason to be sad. I love The Sims 4. I have had so much fun with it and it really makes me feel happy that others…
It's crazy how true I think this is: Honestly if I wasn't working and at home I would be playing the game and not spending as much time on the forums.. Only reason i go on here is when I have nothing to do at work... lol There is sooooo much potential for this game that I can see. When I transitioned onto this forum from…
Yeah for sure :) I love collecting and probably will get them all eventually as I had done with all the other sims games. Seeing as how I enjoy the Sims 4 I don't see why I wouldn't want to add to my game.
Yeah I have had this feeling before. I've spent a lot of time creating a Sim before and I get super excited to play them but when the time comes, they turn out to be boring :/ I always find my favorites are the ones I least expect!
Yeah I find them boring as well but I always have. Toddlers in The Sims 3 didn't bug me as much as The Sims 2 ones. Man those Sims 2 toddlers were harrrddddddd to take care of especially if you had twins or triplets.
