  • I would also love the ability to add multiple headshots for each sim, so I can have a photo of each of their life stages.
  • Thanks for the reply @ThePlumtree. I tried incognito on both browsers, and it still didn't work. I press the login button and nothing happens. I definitely have the latest browser versions. My username is willowsidhe. In IE, when I try to save, it will say "Saving" in the bottom left corner of the screen for a minute or…
  • I'm having a problem with the app. I am unable to save my tree after loading my sims into it. I am only able to actually log in to the app using Internet Explorer. I have tried to login using Chrome and Firefox, but when I press the "Login" button, it just sits there and nothing happens. After logging in using IE, I can…
  • I saw this guy walking around my neighborhood the other day.
  • Thanks for the replies! I just downloaded Zerbu's Trait and Buff factory because I read that it has a list of all whims. It does, and there is not a whim to adopt a baby, only to try for baby. Now, if I can just figure out how to create a new whim!
  • Thank you for the suggestions! I tried all of them, and it hasn't fixed the problem yet.
  • Issue Delays occur after playing the game for a short amount of time. For example, when at the library interacting with other sims, the thought bubbles will begin to delay, and will appear 10 to 15 seconds after pausing the game. The same thing happens for the green / red relationship indicators. After an interaction…
  • This happened to me earlier after I clicked on a link in the forums. I just deleted individual cookies for thesims.com, and then loaded it again. It was in English.
  • If you have the Making Magic EP, there is a spell you can use to age up a child. It's called Age of Instant. I've never heard of a mod that would do it, but that would be nice!
  • I'm not buying anything else until we have toddlers and family trees back in the game.
  • > @gayars said: > I wanted to add that things that used to be under ea are now under origin games with the ultimate collection, in program files. For instance, my programs address to get to the sims 2 ultimate collection is C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection I've heard that, but I have the…

You can swap back and forth as much as you please. I actually have 2 sims 2 folders in my documents, I just add a 2 to the one I…

That's…

I tried the old way of removing…
  • I can play the Sims 1 on my laptop with Windows 8.1 with no problems. I don't have to run in compatibility mode or anything, either. It works fine.
  • I also have the Ultimate Collection, and on my computer it is located here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection\Fun with Pets\SP9\TSBin Hope that helps!
  • I never let Don get married. I always have Cassandra marry Darren Dreamer, and then I let Don sleaze it up with any woman he can get his hands on. I also never let Nina Caliente get married and I make her and Don lovers. I use a Risky Woohoo mod and never try for baby with my romance sims, but once they had an accidental…

My Sims are pretty isolated during Uni in regards to their social life so that really shouldn't be much of a problem. Thanks for the tip and will have to find and use it. I assume it can be found on MTS? I use the "Semester Changes" mod found on…
  • Yeah, some of the townies are really hideous. I downloaded some default face templates so the game uses those instead of the Maxis ones to create new townies. It doesn't change the sims that are already created, but all newly created sims after you install new templates will use those. It helps with making more attractive…
  • > @Godlike said: > University is such a hassle to put your Sims through or I am perhaps the only one who crams eight Sims in a dorm for at least their first two years but all the additional aspiration slots and locks are worth it to me each single time. I have a mod that shortens the length of University to 2 days per…
  • I'm playing them right now. I played the Goth family first and Don left Cassandra at the altar as expected. Darren called her right after it happened and invited her downtown. She accepted and fell in love with him on their first date. Then, I switched to the Dreamer household and had Darren propose. Now they live in…
  • I can play the Sims 2 on my laptop with Windows 8.1. I just installed the UC from Origin and it worked like a charm. I had the game installed from disc prior to this and it would crash before I upgraded from 8 to 8.1. Now it works fine.
  • I have all the Sims (1-4) installed on my desktop, and I never have any problems with any of them (besides the general sims 3 lag). I have windows 7 and my computer is about three years old. I have all expansions and stuff packs for 1 and 2, and about half of them for 3.
  • > @Cinebar said: > I think I like the open world of TS3 and I like/love the CASt, and I really did love a lot of the objects that game offers that we begged for in the TS2 and never did get... :'( but I think after reading many opinions here about all of the games, what we are saying is we loved the actual simulation of…
  • I downloaded the Ultimate Collection from Origin, and it came with all the stuff packs and expansions. It doesn't use the launcher. I just click the icon on my desktop and the game starts. I haven't had any problems with the content.

  • This also happened to me almost every time I loaded a new residential lot. I thought it was kind of strange, but it didn't really bother me. They all leave after a few seconds anyway. I haven't played since the latest patch, though, so I'm not sure if it's still happening.
  • I love the Sims 2. It's my favorite game of all time, and I still play it almost every day. I am lukewarm regarding the Sims 4. The graphics are nice, multitasking is great, and I love that rotational play is possible again. However, I only played it for about a week before the bugs and lack of things that make the game…
  • I did! I went back to TS2 and I love it so much. I played TS3 for years, but now I'm back to 2 again and finding I like it better. I hope that TS4 eventually becomes as good, so I can play it too. @mariah6194 - I play TS2 on my laptop with windows 8.1 sometimes and I don't have any compatibility problems.
