  • I think I'd go with 9. I like Father Winter, he'd probably doze off. Don would most likely be on his phone texting his legion of Cupid's Corner matches (if that's allowed) and maybe, I can listen in on what Nancy and Johnny have to say about the Landgraabs. Solve the mystery about who Johnny is and what he is to Nancy once…
  • @SnaveXs I honestly don't think the worlds are the resources taking away what would take -programmers- to make an EP interesting. The team has a lot of artists, we're given tons of stuff and hairs and furniture and yes - worlds. These people tend not to work in programming new features, they are -artists-. That's the crux…
  • It may be part of the emotional deaths. I believe you can turn these off in the settings.
  • That's promising! - I wonder what the dates will be like? Do we choose our own activities - which would probably involve the roleplay trunk, party game and/or stargazing. Would there be a list of activities to choose from? Or do we only choose the type of date and then it's sort of always the same list of activities, but…
  • It would've been great if we could create our own (sleazy) motel. Although the for rent system is still in need of patching, its framework has a lot of potential. They can integrate it in other ways, from the opening of luxury resorts (especially with various packs) to cheap motels. So many opportunities - it baffles the…
  • wow, so many vids. It's fun to see their reactions, perhaps putting the cosplay/roleplay trunk as selling point was a good idea after all ;)
  • I suspect that similar to the Social Bunny app you can sign up or opt out. I don't know for certain, of course, but I find it very likely that sims individually can choose to be on the app or not.
  • In-game it states it'll end in 19 days for me. I was late as well, because it didn't work for me at first (or was rolled out later in my area?). I have only one reward/week to go. So there should be plenty of time.
  • I would like the worlds though, it's one aspect of the game that I look forward to every time. We do have a lot of them though, maybe too many? I think we have too many clothes and items in buy mode*, but I did buy pretty much everything over the course of time. Having none of that in a pack would be a slap in the face for…
  • The agressive dancing had me in stitches. It's not enticing, though admittedly probably meant to be gimmicky anyways. Watch Sunny's suggestive dancing: https://youtube.com/watch?v=vo5XtmB6YkI This is also what makes the trunk less interesting to me, because it is meant to be a joke item. I don't think romance as the only…
  • While that may be true, all of these things appear empty or redundant to me personally. What I meant was that we have already had a love/couples theme, and also with Growing Together, the familial ties were given a tad more depth through relationship dynamics, although I personally don't really experience any notable…
  • That would be awesome! I remember we had asymmetrical relationships very early in Sims 4 and they patched it out... I really miss it. What I liked about the sims 2 is that one Sim could be totally furious with their roommate because they didn't clean up their messes and the other would be totally oblivious to it. It added…
  • This is the second pack ( the other being high school years) that I"m not quite sure what's pack-worthy about it. Quite frankly, I'm not really sure what I should be looking forward to. I'm generally not negative as a person, I like the maxis team as human beings, but I'm confused as to what the point is. We got a…
  • It's regrettable it didn't go this direction. I would love more occults as well - I'd rather have all of the Sims 3 occults back, and then some :P If I had to make a choice, just one adventure pack - although the dinosaurs sound really awesome - I would definitely choose Egypt all over again. But now we're ten years ahead…
  • @RedDestiny92 That's so sad. I'm quite fond of the old Nishidake couple.
  • Yea... come to think of it, we did sink a lot of money into this game. It's really crazy actually. Normally, we don't pay this much for a game - only for a live-service perhaps, when we are paying a subscription fee (like a MMO). Does EA forget this and just grow complacent about it? It's just little bits over the course…
  • Hello! I have to start all over again with my worlds, so I decided to begin with one of my favorite premade sims Sienna Grove :) She's spirited and independent. All she needs in life is the great outdoors and her trusty companion Flapjack. Together they can conquer the world! They spend as much time together as humanly…
  • That's a bit concerning. I've been been re-downloading some lots from Maxis after doing away with my old tray folder. Just to be safe, because it seems my old sims might bring over corruption? I accidentally moved one family into a restaurant... like wt f? I saw a fair amount of maxis lots were corrupted as well. Costing…
  • Wow, very cool! I love your style and the house they're living in. They have a lot of character already with so very few words. It is so incredibly different from what I did in my save file, it is super refreshing to see! I leaned very heavily into Eliza's snobbish (imo controlling) character, secretly desiring to be some…
  • Hello. I wanted to share my frustration. My save of many, many years has been corrupted and using the other save would set me so far back, I've lost my motivation to keep playing. I am starting from scratch and I should be making (better) backups next time. My fault - but still! Meh. Lesson learned I guess... I like the…
  • I really like the horses, they look really good. I'm very impressed by it actually. I haven't explored everything yet though. I play sporadically. A few things that I do miss right now: * No horse related club activities. And the activity of "taking care of animals" doesn't apply to horses for some reason. * No geneology…
  • Never thought, in a million years, we would get goats (or chickens). IRL I would love to do some beekeeping, and have chickens and also keep goats - so this is like a dream come true. There's more to it, of course, I grew up on spaghetti westerns and country music (thanks mom). I'm proper excited for this pack. It's a nice…
  • @SERVERFRA Thanks for your insightful comments! I had no idea some doctors didn't really know about this syndrome. And I have learned quite a lot about it since the birth of Mila's daughter. So, what you say is absolutely true! @Sammoyke "To that end any birth mark or possible medical skin conditions, or even medical…
  • What do you think of it being added in-game the way that it is? I understand that with this particular birthmark, there could be neurological complications of varying degrees. Edit: maybe it is important to emphasise that if a person has a port-wine stain on their face, but no neurological symptoms, they do not have the…
  • When you have a baby and they have a very prominent mark in a sensitive area (the eye, the head) that could be indicative of a lasting medical complication, wouldn't you be worried? The advice is that a doctor will examine the baby. This is very serious. I understand, these babies aren't real and they are conceived in a…
  • The trigger warning is for difficult discussion other people may feel sensitive about. It's meant as a discussion in good faith, but I know from experience that some things get lost in translation. I'm also from a culture that is very direct and not all cultures are that way. Maybe a triggerwarning for the word…
  • @EnkiSchmidt Ohh, but that's cool too. I'll look forward to reading it then ;)
  • It does feel like this. HSY was such a let down for me personally - in contrast to the werewolves pack. I would consider myself a very laid-back simmer, I'm not asking for much, but I do like quality. They can have free-reign and they can follow their vision. I honestly didn't mind the infamous Batuu pack either, they…
  • I'm currently running into an issue of drama/scouting not being part of an 'after-school activity' and I don't know why that is. This household predates this pack and the children have poured effort and time into these two extracurricular activities... I mean, I don't mind aiming for a teen aspiration, but this was…
