@mcrudd Your rules make me think of it being more of a Perfect 100 Baby Challenge. I really like that concept. I'll keep an eye on this rules page and might toss in some of my own along the way and give it a try semi-soon.
@Sindocat Hmmm. Well, they are on my home lot and it's definitely my active lot at that time. But I have tried at exactly 10pm. I definitely will tonight in-game. It's been a long while now and they haven't bloomed ever. The challenge I'm playing keeps my sim on the lot... indefinitely. So I've not been gone. But, it could…
Of those two, I build more traditional. Though I try to build a variety of things. I mostly have traditional builds on my gallery but I have a colonial, a victorian, another traditional, and converted shipping containers in progress currently. Yesterday and today I've uploaded a tiny (micro) christmas cottage and I…
Just off the top of my head (and the not-so-proud "owner" of a goldfish memory) I think my most was my BaCC save and that one had like 8 families I was rotating between. It has been my favorite save, hands down. And I keep wanting to get back to rotating, because I loved it. But I have to get attached to sims and care…
I agree so very much with this. I rarely watch tv. Oh, sure, there are shows I like and I'll dvr them and eventually get to watching them (never mind I'm behind this entire season of Supernatural, and still haven't found time to start watching it), but I'd rather spend my free time playing a game. Which is why my shows…
I certainly do want my game to reflect how the world use to be (and will be again). I certainly don't want my sims game to reflect how things are now. Having to mask up to go in public, staying 6 ft apart from other sims, no gatherings more than 10 sims. Ugh, how utterly boring would that be?? Why would I even play that? I…
Being over 40 years old, my mother still tries to "parent-shame" me for enjoying playing computer games, specifically sims. Whenever I mention it to her (we live separately, nearly an hour apart), she likes to "tsk" me and shake her head shamefully. It has zero effect on me. She has past times and hobbies that have zero…
I'd say that is accurate. I had a sim who was insane and he spent all his free time naked. He was regularly just lounging on the couch with no clothes on, even when his child was watching tv with him. His last day, as usual, he was naked watching tv and he went upstairs to his bedroom, changed into his everyday and…
If D drive is an internal drive within your computer (much like a C drive being a smaller SSD and a D drive being a larger HDD) you can do that with no problems at all. I would not, however, recommend running the game off an external drive.
When every time a sim tries to cook eggs, it starts a fire. This is literally happening in my Asylum challenge that I'm doing for youtube and they had 3 fires back to back because I kept putting out the fire and having her resume the eggs (the stove was not burning, only the counter would be scorched).
I have it on pc and ps4, but I just can't with the ps4. I have even stopped buying packs for the ps4, so sadly I won't complete that collection (I have all on pc and my OCD tendencies likes complete collections). The ps4 controls are too bad, even with keyboard and mouse. It feels too unnatural. It might be from years of…
I picked sometimes because I use cheats like moveobjects, but I only rarely use money cheats, needs cheats, etc. That is most often to right a wrong, take money away for challenges and to make my game more interesting.
Hey ya'll! I'm Chelle! :) I make Sims 4 Youtube videos! I've been uploading for a couple years, but because of life and I've to take several breaks. Well, hoping that's all behind me, I'm trying to get serious about my channel. I'd love you to come check out my channel! A bit about my channel. I currently do mostly…
It's not cheating, it's how the game is designed. At worst, it's gaming the system, or exploiting the loophole. But not cheating. I finished the entire 100 baby challenge with one matriarch, well before she aged to elder. I didn't even get serious about doing it with one matriarch until after her adult birthday. She had…
Legacy Edition is only for PC and Mac, for 32bit PC's and Mac's running metal (I'm less confident on the mac side, as I'm a PC user exclusively). Legacy has nothing to do with consoles. You can't gift from your origin account to their PS4 account, but you can purchase PS gift cards and give them those. I believe you should…
@Netzspannung Could you do kids fashion, too? It's so limited, without my cc I feel like there is next to nothing for kids and especially toddlers. I'd love to see what you do with that.
A lot. I have multiple folders that I run out of and each folder has it's own designated type of saves (Drifter folder that holds all my drifter saves, Personal folder which holds my free play saves, Legacies folder for my legacy style games... you see where this is going). The last few weeks I have been solely in my…
It was my own fault. I was looking for pants but it turned out to be an outfit. I finally found it. :) I love this thread! It stays bookmarked on the actual bookmark bar for quick access. This thread gives me great inspiration for my sims clothes. And, since I (just today) purged all my CC (CAS and B/B) I'll be checking…
I'm in the forgotten era (40's). I've been a simmer for nearly half my life now (started in 2000 with Sims 1. I don't consider simcity and all that as my simmer days, even though I did play simcity before 2000).
@Teena94 You don't need to spend 3K to get a laptop that will run the game well. Here's the specs to look for: i5 or i7 (no, U processors). Also, Ryzen processors are good ones, so a Ryzen 5 or 7 (again, no U processors) 8GB RAM would be fine, but personally, I'd make sure it has at least 16GB RAM. If it has an SSD, make…
I've had plenty of vampire break-ins. Too many. The only reason I don't complain continuously about the constant annoyance of vampires breaking in to drink from my sims is for two reasons. One, I chose to buy the pack (but EA could have certainly done things differently), so I only have myself to blame, but I don't feel I…
From what I got, my sim lived in an apartment, where rent was 1500, her roommate paid 108 a week. With basic/cheap items. I upgraded the fridge and added a microwave and roommates rent went up to 112 a week. I then added a washer and dryer, again, it went up a couple dollars. Over the course of a sim-generation, I added…
