I'm pretty much in agreement with this post. I picked up IL a few days ago expecting it to be akin to the Island Paradise expansion in Sims 3. Now that I have sat down and played IL.....I feel like this is such a waste of my money. I hate that all the careers are nothing but rabbit holes, there is no underwater activity…
I started the Stylist career with one of my existing sims. I like it so far, but a little lost on what to do with the Trend Style-Board. My sim added enough impressions to to fill the board (when I go to add an impression, I no longer get the option to do it), and there's no option appearing to clear it off. Right now, I'm…
I'm getting this problem now after the latest patch. Since I seem unable to post a subject on the forums because of the restrictions in place, I have to post here. I'm not having issues with the files generated, I'm having "Error Logged" orange notifications showing up ever few seconds in my game, and it's officially…
It's a bug. Made my vampire in CAS and she still has invisible Sim needs that she shouldn't have as a vampire (hunger, bladder, needs to sleep). Tried uninstalling the game, cleaning up the registry, repairing the game, and deleting my existing Sims 4 Folder in Documents and she still has them. The sim triggers that should…
Does anyone know how the vampire needs work? I made my vamp in CAS as a new household, but despite having the needs bars for a Vampire, she still becoming uncomfortable to regular sim needs like hunger (for sim food when her thirst is in the green), bladder, etc. Is that supposed to be a thing with vampire still or am I…
Liking the expansion, but I think I got a weird bug/glitch. I made my vampire from scratch in CAS, but she still has Regular Sim needs (hunger, bladder, etc) when her Needs menu only shows the ones for vampires. so I'm a little lost. Do vampire sims still have the same needs as regular sims and just don't show up in the…
Okay, I have several lights that are giving me the "script call failed" error. I downloaded and ran the Sims 4 Studio batch fix, completely restarted the game, but when I get back into the household I was working on, I'm still getting "script call failed". Am I missing a step somewhere?
Well, got it working now. No idea what was causing the problem, but combed through my CC and removed a few scripted mods and the game is running fine now.
Still happening. restarted the computer, booted up the game, even moved her into a different apartment, and still stuck on the loading screen when I hit the "Play" button for the last 15 minutes
I can't even play the game. I created a new household to play in San Myshuno, and once I go to move her into the spice district, I get stuck on the loading screen for the apartment I'm trying to get her moved into. Walked away from it for a while, and an hour later it's still on the loading screen.
Turns out it wasn't a graphics issue but a CC problem. Removed the CC that was causing the glitch and the game is performing and rendering properly so far.
Glad to have helped you out JellyEyes. There's a few more mods that were effected by the update that I came across, but they were ones that Rose linked in a post above.
I've been trying to free up space on my C drive for a while, but most of the programs on that drive are core programs for the computer or maintenance programs. I'm combing through them again to see what can go.
Didn't go into Managed Worlds during my time playing, just saved and exited out of the game. when I loaded it up again, my sims were all standing on the sidewalk in front of the lot.
The game is running on my E drive, which is dedicated to PC games. My C drive is my OS and a few maintenance programs. I'm not having performance issues. The game is running fine for the time I have been on it, the blacked out textures is the only oddity I am having so far. I'll try the NVidia thing and see if that fixes…

What rose suggested worked. I went through my CC a little at a time until I came across the CC that was causing the problem. The culprit turned out to be the Fish Freshness Fix from Mod the Sims. I deleted it from my CC and started up the game and it's working fine so far.
I've started getting this glitch now since I let the current update install. I play my household (only household I have in the game), saved it last night with Save As, and when I load the game, the entire household is standing outside on the sidewalk instead of in the spots/activities I left them with before saving and…
This is happening on my game as well. I just found Triton King while scuba diving, and he doesn't have a tail. It's just his legs moving in the motion of the tail.
I manage to get my game to work. Not sure what was causing it, but the culprit was a file in my Sims 3 folder. Luckily, I backed up this folder a few days ago, so I deleted the one the game was using and let it create a new one then transferred over the folders I wanted back in the game (Saves, SavedSims, DCCache, Mods,…
I'm just going to uninstall sims 3 all together. It's way too demanding on resources as it is for a PC game and I don't want to try and use workarounds to solve them because I really don't want to rish messing something up and having to do a complete system restore to fix it.
