  • I prefer reading wordpress as opposed to watching videos on youtube. Reading stories with screenshots allows me to be able to fill in the blanks of a story with my own imagination, but youtube videos do not as easily allow this.
  • I play it because it seems unlikely that I will ever experience many of the awesome life events that sims have in real life. I will probably never get married, have kids, raise a family, be close with my siblings, own a store, fulfill my life ambitions etc. in my real life. This game allows me to experience the things that…
  • I saw it on Carl's Sims Guide and on this forum, let me try to find the link. Not sure if there was anything official about it, but let me see.
  • Feel free to use 'em in any capacity that you need. I am a fan of both generations of this story, and I'm excited to see where you take things next!
  • On when I'm playing a big household, off otherwise

  • I wish irl that I could take a vacation every couple of days. Haha
  • Any townie child gets a makeover from me when they make it to teen, I don't bother with their parents since they will be dead soon anyways.
  • Its crazy how sims will get sad moodlets and want to "cry it out" in bed for days while their deceased family member is chilling out 50 feet away watching TV.

  • Tough question, I often bring in some sims from the gallery to add good looking townies to my games. Ultimately though, the only sims that are my favorites are my own, but not the ones I make in CAS. My favorite are the children of my CAS sim(s) and their descendants. Its awesome to see them grow up and even funner seeing…

May need to search a different computer, but here's my trans couple as kids. > > Jackson and Zoe aka Jacky and Zade. They do have an elaborate backstory, like Alex and Henry do, but I think I'll keep this post short, since I'm still…
  • Would be interesting to see some sims on the asexual or aromantic spectrums, or both. Sims who can be in a relationship with no woo hoo and still be happy, or sims who can be good partners and raise a family without any flirting or romantic exchange. Does anybody have any?
  • Ask them to stay the night, and normally they will hop in and sleep (in my experience).
  • I use MC Commander, and from my years of lurking on here I can tell you that many people also do! Just be prepared for inbreeding between 2nd and 3rd cousins if you are playing a generational game.
  • I am curious if there is a decrease in nightmares if the toddler shares a room with a sibling or parent. This is strictly anecdotal but I have noticed that tots who share a room seem to have very few nightmares compared to those who are off on their own.
  • This has been a disastrous problem for me lately, the townie mother of my first born toddler died literally a few hours after he was born and through like half of this poor kids tooddlerhood he was "very sad" (along with the rest of my household). Then two of my sims got a call that some random townie sim they barely knew…
  • Might she be daydreaming about those model car decorations that came with the base game? I always found it weird that they have model cars in this game, but no real cars.
  • Single level is my preference since I can see what everyone is doing, and going up and down stairs is a waste of time that could be better spent elsewhere. With that being said, if I have a large family I will often door off a second story and make a "in-law suite" for my founder sim or one of my favorite spares. That way…
  • I always cancel out any other action that they are doing or trying to do, and then they normally waltz off to work. I did once have a problem with a visitor in one of my households causing some kind of glitch where everybody kept trying to talk to her even though she was in the process of leaving (supposedly at least, she…
  • I wish we could get some second and third cousin options as well, it seems weird when that relationship drops to "acquaintance" after two cousins have kids, especially in the tight knit world that is the sims universe.
  • I dig what you have managed to do with Newcrest! I would like to do something similar, but I normally end up building structures that look just like the french provincial background buildings. Your different districts prove that you can go another route and still make the community look good. Thanks for the inspiration.
