I'm excited for it, I love seeing things from real life in my Sims game. I like looking back at the Sims 2 and reminiscing what it was like in the early 2000 and I think it would be good to be able to look back at The Sims 4 in 15 years and be reminded about what it was also like.
I'd prefer it if we just had Island Living, Jungle Adventure, Outdoor Retreat and Spa Day in one vacation pack. Buying all of these together seems like to much money to get decent vacation options for your sims.
I have four toddlers but I don't use the high-chair, it's sounds like you have the same as me a bungalow, with toys in the main room. I managed okay with one adult sims, only toilet training was the hardest, It felt like it took me ages to bath them and potty train them.
Just seen that there is a sale on . I got Get Together with the last sale but I wasn't really impressed, the dance skill wasn't as good as expected, the cafe didn't really work very good and the families in the world didn't seem that interesting. However a lot of people like it, so it could just be me.
Yes, I've always been playing it whenever anybody came in my room or stayed over. I was also amazed and proud the first time I went to my boyfriends house and seen he had every game expansion and pack for The Sims 3.
I want to buy this game pack because I love using restaurants . I didn't buy it because I heard about all the bugs, I'm guessing by this thread the game is still unplayable.:(
I've played this game for the past 15 years and I've never noticed any big game breaking corruption. I'm not sure if it happens so often that everyone is making out. I don't know if this is just scaremongering and making people too scared to do anything in the Sims 2. As long as you follow this guide…
The Sims 3 definitely for gameplay, the expansion packs seemed to have much more content. I also had more freedom to customize the game the way I wanted to.
I did prefer the ages they were in earlier games. In the Sims 2 I just pretended they were older once they were able to walk and talk. In the Sims 4 I can't pretend there is a stage where they are younger because I can't give them a bottle, can't use the highchair and there aren't any cribs.
I like the challenge of my sims being poor, but then I realize later being poor isn't very fun. I downloaded low pay part time jobs for adults and it was quite depressing.:(
The first game was The Sims on console, I didn't know anything about the game so I got a shock the first time my sim died accidentally or got abducted. I wished I could play The Sims for the first time again without knowing anything.
Yes The Sims 2 wasn't perfect I had to download plenty of mods for it. However it is a lot less frustrating to play, it is easier to feed them, if I cancel an action they stop and I can put a toddler in the high chair.
It will run it, but a dedicated graphics card would be better. The game won't look as good with the intel hd card, you will have a lot of jagged lines. You can get better refurbished systems for cheaper on e-bay.
I found the drama in the life stories games quite hilarious. I remember wanting the new objects, floors and walls in the original game though. Even the swimming pool graphics looked better in the life stories version.
The processor is a bit slow, you would be better off having an i3,i5 or i7 processor or amd equivalent. I don't know what graphics card you have but you will need a dedicated graphics card (AMD or Nividia).
However I don't think Sims 4 really caters to family players, so in the Sims 4 I usually just play with a young adult and go to community lots and hang out. I switch to earlier games to play with sim families.
