It got on my nerves so bad I no longer add a second floor to any of my houses. The basement stairs also has the issue. Love my job as a EA Beta Tester.
At first it was fine and dandy. They go in to eat or sleep then come out for attention. Then boom they stopped coming out and about to be taken away. Yes you can them out but I thought they do it on there own.
Tex we have bigger issue then not able to look at yourself in the mirror. Eco Living is a hot mess. Then we got the teleport stairs and disappearing plants and it goes on. I'm sure come Sims 5 you will be able look at your face all day and night.
Given the amount of issues and the lack of fixes it's time to shelf Sims 4. I can not build a second floor do to teleport stairs and you want to throw more stuff at this broken mess.
As someone pointed out go plant some Orchids and back it up with Dragon Fruit. Make sure you have a Greenhouse during the off season. Soon you will rolling in $$$.
Day 1 it should been cooking into column A and baking into column B. But this would have required thinking outside the box and EA is all about Wall Street.
My biggest issue is the bugs and the excuses as to why they are not fixed. Stairs are now a teleporter and when leaving the lot all harvest items go into household inventory. Sims still can't Knit on there own. After awhile CL turns into a rinse and repeat with no place to spend the $$$ from all the hard work.
Since CL the issue has gotten worse. The Oversized crops are pushing the average crops under the bus. The solution isn't a new save it's EA fixing the issue and doing proper testing.
The biggest is I have are these so called Fairs or Festivals. There are no Food stalls, Carnival games like pie eating or bobbing for apples. Can't even buy a T-Shirt. As for bugs I'm learning to work around them.
Since Knitting hasn't been broken since last patch I'm done with crafts. Built over a dozen pools and not a single household has used them so I'm done with pools. The only thing my Sims are good at is getting fat and gardening so more garden stuff wouldn't be a bad idea but no mowing.
