It bothers me sometimes, but I know if they had gradual aging or more heights, it would create issues with rigging, EG: sitting, hugging, cooking, most interactions really. They also likely wouldn't go back and add clothes from packs to fit the new bodies. Then people will probably be upset about lack of choice. I think I…
I have old phonebooks I still do this with. Edit: I have a habit of giving my sims last names for their first, or something like Zucchini. Right now my sim's son is named Monk after Adrian Monk.
@EricasFreePlay Do not be sorry, your reply is not late. Thank you for letting me know! Can you please tell me if you needed to adjust it in any way to run Sims 2? Also, which way did you acquire the sims 2, if you can state it. Thank you edit: Also, which windows did it run on?
@kestrel Agreed, I think phones were fine. You could call, text, play a game, online shop, call vet/adopt, and influencers could make simple social media posts. It did the job for my sims. Now they are always on it!
I wish we could toggle phones on and off for each sim. I don't know why it is perma-attached to sims, it should have to be bought if they were born in game. Children having phones is ridiculous to me, they appear to be age 9. Feedback: There could be wallphones bought for the house that everyone can use, and adult sims can…
I do not care if the sims team is trying to appeal to new generations, get off your phone!! I think most simmers like me, play the game to escape reality. I see enough phone addiction when I go to the grocery store. I play on PlayStation so I can't mod the problems away.
I don't mind the names, it only bothers me that they are not matching up to sims of that orientation. Sometimes it feels like it is cultural appropriation... But who minds, I suppose, I will just change the names if they matter enough to my save. Edit: This is another thing with auto-generated sims, NONE of my black sims…
I was not aware there were many other 'asexual' people, I did not know there was a term for my preference (or lack thereof). Is that not amazing something with a major impact, yet quiet, is now in a video game. Wow!
I consider myself 'asexual' so I suppose I am LGBTQ. My sims do not reflect me. I see an attractive sim, that is who they date, any gender. When raising sim kids born in game I tend to have many of them transition genders, this is probably because some important people in my reality are trans.
PS. Should have put this on my previous post but posted too soon. I think there should be more basic clothing. Not everything needs to be trendy, niche situation specific, or extravagant wear
I don't think I'll get Highschool for a specific reason: I want the game play, but not the outfits, because I know adult sims will wear them. I saw them, they fit teens and maybe some young adults, but I don't want my world run by adult sims dressed like children
I don't want cars to be in a pack. I choose romance because I want more meaningful interactions between sims in general, but it doesn't need to be in romance form for me.
