My mum is 86 and has dementia and although can't play herself loves to watch me play and helps me design houses. I'm sure if she could she would be a simmer and maybe her dementia wouldn't be as advanced as it is. Keep on swimming.
I'm in the process of buying a new laptop the good people on here have given me some great advice on what to look for in my price range but I really want nraas mods especially story progression. I'm running it on my present laptop but only have a couple of the early expansions. This is the laptop I'm looking at. Acer nitro…
Apparently EA stopped giving out ultimate collection in Oct, I know they had been giving it out for quite a long time but wish we had a bit more notice they were they were going to stop it as my old laptop was on its way out and could no longer get internet and was in the process of buying a new one so was bad timing.
I would probably say tropical vacation with the option of a castaway theme. I would also like supernatural, especially witches and werewolves. As for farming I could take it or leave it.
Hi, thank you for the advice. That is the model I was looking at. I'm in the UK and my budget is about £850 which I think is just over a 1000 USD. I know a desktop is better for gaming but am really looking for a laptop as I'm at my mums a lot of the time caring for her.
I would like to definitely have season's in the base game and all the life stages. I hope to have a genetic system more like sims 2 where they can inherit colouring and looks from their ancestor's. I would also like to have the memory system, photo album, social bunny and therapist back. I would like to shop for clothes,…
Hi Am looking for a laptop to play sims 3 and maybe 4. Have seen this laptop which I can just about afford but not am sure if its powerful enough. MSI GL62M 8GB Intel core i7 kabylake 17-7700HQ processor Quad core processor 2.8 GHz processor speed 1TB and 128GB HDD storage Hard drive speed 5400 RPM Microsoft windows 10…
I'm almost 50. I first played the Nintendo D's version with my daughter and when she got the sims 2 for PC I used to design houses for her and that's when I became hooked. I used to like to design houses on squared paper so it was amazing to seem in 3D and come to life.
I understand why EA have stopped giving out ultimate collection after four years. Its just a shame its not available to buy for new simmers who have yet to experience sims 2 or late comers who wasnt aware of ultimate collection. Its still such an awesome game.
Totally agree. I know EA want sims 4 to do well but not making sims 2 available to loyal fans and a new generation of simmers is not going to make people buy sims 4, you will either love it or not and I'm sure a lot of people will play both games as they are different enough to enjoy as individual games. I for one would be…
I dont understand why EA are not making sims and sims 2 available to buy on origin, They still have a massive fan base and it would only take them to get them to work well on windows 10 to make a profit. I know my teenage daughter and friends enjoy playing them as much as sims 4 if not more.
Hi, have just bought a second hand lenovo thinkpad to play sims 2 on but as it has compatability issues which i cant resolve so was wondering if it would run the sims 3 base game only. It has 4gb ram and Intel hd graphics 4000. My old laptop died and am missing my sims.
Thank you for the advice. :) I will try what you said. The game actually plays after the compatibility issues box comes up but while playing theres blue boxes everywhere. I have put it into compatibility mode for windows xp but it doesn't seem to make a difference. I missed out on the ultimate collection as my origin…
Anyone have any suggestions on a laptop that will play sims 2 disc version as EA have stopped giving out ultimate collection. The laptop I have has compatibility issues with sims 2.
I only played the first sims at my friends but it looked like a great game so would definitely like to give a remastered sims a go. If they could add life stages it would be awesome.
It would be impossible for me to say everything I love about the Sims, basically if sims was a man I'd marry him. The design aspect is probably my favourite part of the game and then the gameplay itself and of course the escapism, as we all know life does not always go as planned and we don't always have control of how…
