I want all of the above! I want the deaths to be like they were in The Sims 2 when our Sims actually had accidental deaths. Now we supposedly have them, some seem to have experienced it. I have never had an accidental death in my game. They were way more frequent in The Sims 2 and it made the game way more exciting. Reason…
If a video game is that offensive to you then don't play it. Plain and simple. Trust me, there are far worse games out there. It's just a game. A video game is not going to teach someone it's okay to shove a child. Don't use the interaction if you don't want to use it.
I agree, The Sims 4 is so boringly predictable. In the Sims 2 for example you could have the perfect plan for your sim, you had it's whole like planned out and then BAM! He/she got electrocuted or the house burned down. In the Sims 4 it feels like there's 0% chance of accidental death. So boring.
I can't believe this thread has turned into "laundry shaming" teens who doesn't do laundry and people attacking others for having an opinion. Does it really matter if people voted or not, are they not allowed to give an opinion? Anyway, honest opinion is that I would only play this if it was a gift from someone or I won it.
In a way it is nice that they don't autonomously interact with the cats and dogs because I think they would be as obsessed with them as they are with crying babies... But yes, it is super annoying that the whims are not worth much and they're always there and you have to click them away.
We had it in one of the Expansion Packs for one of the games didn't we? The Sims 1 if I am not mistaken? Why is it so hard to add into the newer games, shouldn't it be easier?
Something they did broke some other stuff in the game. My dogs still does the weird stretch that supposedly was fixed in a patch. Kids homework now freezes everyone in place while time is still going and the only way for me to fix it is to debug the kid. So I don't know if just repairing my game will fix the later or if I…
The creator Will Wright's whole point with the Sims was creating a interior decorator simulator and then he decided to put people in it to see how they were doing in their home. That is why the Sims in the Sims one even had a "room" bar to see how the furniture, lights etc effected the Sim. So yeah, it's simulated humans.
Yeah that is my thoughts too. What's the point? They should have just patched this into the game or something. It's not really worth it's on pack just to get laundry machines and some new clothes.
Yeah it was very disappointing to read the patch notes and realize it doesn't seem like they have even tried to fix Cats and Dogs. Feels like there's no point in continuing to play the game until it's fixed. And I agree that it is sad that moders can fix this issues but the developers can't.
I get that people want more realism in the game, but laundry is boring in real life and I doubt it will be exciting in a video game. Sorry. I played a game called Singles which is somewhat similar to The Sims and they had to do laundry and it was not exciting... So no, I don't get the hype around the laundry pack thing.
For me cancelling doesn't do anything. My only way of getting the game to work again is to use testingcheats on and then debug the person doing the homework.
I know the feeling. Ever since I started playing The Sims a looooooong time ago (I'm almost 30 now and I've played since The Sims first came out) and my interest and "spark" have come and gone, come and gone. Right now it's pretty gone. I don't know if it's just a part of my on and off relationship with the game, the fact…
