Having multiple save files helps me. I have one that has 6 generations. I have another that is strictly a challenge file. I have a file that is a build file. That is just one one computer. On a different computer, I have a different legacy file which is only on generation 2.
@ikiamyetta Not joking. That is just my observations. Why else would we be directed to see what is "popular" or be able to see the amount of likes and amount of downloads of gallery content? Those are only important to people who need the social media aspect. That and how I keep hearing things described about the gallery…
I am still waiting for actual improvement to gameplay features rather than just making the background look nice. Starting to wonder if that will ever happen.
The screen shots I have seen have proven to me that the gallery update was pointless. That and I keep seeing that it goes offline multiple times to be "fixed" since it is supposedly broken. Saw that via tweets from a guru.
I don't play with them. I used to have them be toddlers for only 1 in game minute and age them up immediately to a child. I recently found a mod that immediately skips the toddler stage entirely and ages the baby to a child. I purchased Sims 4 originally because it did not have toddlers and still prefer to not have that…
The only people the I see happy with the gallery are those that are into the social media aspect. Personally, I play offline 99.9% of the time, so I see it as a worthless feature.
I play offline 99.9% of the time so that update on the gallery was worthless and pointless to me as a gamer. The only people they are appealing to are those addicted to the unneeded social media aspect they forced into the game.
I usually start my builds top down view. That makes it easy to see the tiles. Guess I like the counting as it makes me think when I build. The feature you are initially describing comes off as lazy at least to me personally.
I have made my simself household which includes real life my husband, teen and two children. Because it is my family, I will not share pictures. They are stuck in my library unplayed until we get birds to complete my family. It just is not the same without my budgies.
There is a mod on mod the sims that allows for the appropriate reaction for death notices, according to relationship. My sim was give a fine modlet for co-worker deaths. She was only acquaintances in relation to them, and barely talked to them.
See there you go referencing the past iteration yet again. I really do not care to about Sims 3 as my research informed me to not even consider purchasing it. Heck I would have stayed playing the orginal The Sims game (without mods and cc) if windows 10 would have easily allowed it to download. Until the devs can get their…
But for me the game is "unplayable." I play games to RELAX. The bugs currently in my game make it so the game is more frustrating than relaxing. Oh, and my computer is a gaming rig. This is the first and only game that I require mods to make it playable.
The bugs have made my game completely unplayable. I even started a new vanilla game and found it still not up to my standard of playable. My guess is that they really don't care, as that is the vibe I even get from here and twitter. The devs keep confirming my negative impressions of them.
I have found that after each and every update, I am forced to select the "repair game." Sometimes outdated mods leave problem, even when removed before updating.
Well excuse me for seeing a game unplayable since I experience so many bugs and can't relax while playing it. By the way, meantioning Sims 3 is a complete turn off. I researched between both games and disliked what most people loved about that iteration. I just will never see the livestreams as a positive thing. The team…
I only purchased the game in 2015. I have two games that I rotate playing. My other is Story of Seasons trio of s. Lately since Sims 4 has been deemed unplayable by me due to the bugs. I play to relax, and until those bugs get fixed the game will stay unopened.
I know the game is still completely unplayable. They also seemed to announce they want to "play" on a monthly livestream. That gives me a very negative impression that there will be less focus on actually fixing the bugs in the game.
Them doing monthly livestreams tells me they will not focus on what I see as important about the game. That they will play around instead of fixing bugs. By the way, the few livestreams I did view, the team gave off a very negative impression to me. Because of that, I will never watch their livestreams.
Very disappointed. Not into watching livestreams, so I guess I will never really get hyped about the game. If they really wanted to connect, they needed to find a better way than twitch or twitter.
My daughter is an older teen, just a few short years before she becomes an adult. So, it is not a young child. I am happy people can now play on console, but most PC games just DO NOT work well on console. The mouse precision needed for some games makes playing them on console a terrible idea.
I kind of expected the update to not be all that great. Fixing all the bugs created by the last EP would have been better. There are still no significant gameplay features that have been introduced to really hype me for this game.
