My painter reminisces on a memory pic I took on her first trip to the museum before starting a painting. Its a quick, easy way to get her inspired. I have also used it for my Astronaut to help with Confidence, and any time I want someone to successfully flirt, I'll have them reminisce about being romantic. It's faster than…
Especially in the beginning, when every simolean counts... But here is a setup similar tone I am using for my family. I decided to just go with it and turn it into a feature.
I agree. I think you can get away with removing the wall between the shower and sink without any issues - maybe play around with the lighting a bit? Still seems a bit dark and cramped here...
There's a Challenge called Mental No Buy Mode over here: mommyisagamer.com/2014/11/the-sims-4-challenge-mental-no-buy-mode.html Also, a bit of a story going on if anyone is interested. :)
It took me about 5 tries to finally get this one in gold. In addition to having problems listening to the piano, sometimes I had trouble getting them to listen to classical music together. In several attempts, my sim was also having difficulty baking the black and white cookies/cake (routing problems? they would just wave…
It took me several tries but I did eventually manage to get gold on this. I also seemed to have problems with the baking the black and white cookies or the black and white cake goal. I kept directing my sim to cook these and they would wave their hands like they weren't able to get to the oven, though there was nobody else…
I'm currently working on the Chief of Mischief Aspiration. One of the goals to be completed is to "Clog Drains at 5 different homes". I've completed this 4 times successfully, but now, no matter which home I try to enter, no icon is showing that will allow me to visit the residence once it is already loaded. To reiterate:…
I think that some plants provide certain emotional boosts as well. A rose bush in a pot in a room helps make it more flirty. I think tulips might make it more energized? Not sure about the others...
@JoxerTM22 That was HILARIOUS! My sim keeps putting his device down and I end up buying a new one because I can't find the other one in the house. I've probably got a nice little collection hiding in various bookcases and behind clutter on desks, etc. The Slablet is located in the electronics tab, I think for $1,000?…
We have several girls in our family. Here, on Valentine's Day, hubby gets to give each of his sweethearts something special, and we each give him something too. We try to go for handmade if possible. We also decorate for Valentine's day by putting pink streamers up, pink table cloths, etc. We have our own party - little…
The first time I played Sims was a few years ago, when Sims 3 came out. I chose a nice little couple in Sunset Valley and things were going well until the wife had a wish for a baby. A few game days later, my Sims ended up with triplets! This was after only an hour or so of gameplay IRL... Now, this was before baby swings,…
Lol, wasn't there a scene on the IT Crowd where the guy (Moss?) decided to try putting his new IPhone in his shirt pocket instead of his back pocket... only to have it fall into the toilet when he reached down to flush it? Here you go! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QLw6FemRavs
I think I read somewhere that it's unsanitary to leave the lid up at all when flushing - releases a spray of ***** matter into the air... so yeah at our house I'm teaching the kiddos to close the whole thing - just beware of tiny fingers! Edited to add: Wow - it won't let me write the scientific term for the waste material…
I was thinking how funny it is that my husband is so proud that he never leaves the seat up. The thing is that I grew up with brothers, so I always check (with my hand in the middle of the night if needed!). He says I don't appreciate how considerate he is!
My Sim gave her husband an ear full about this in my Apocalypse Story. :) http://www.mommyisagamer.com/2013/12/apocalypse-challenge-chapter-3-entry-24.html
I'm working on an Apocalypse Challenge. Here's the Intro: http://www.mommyisagamer.com/2013/12/the-sims-3-apocalypse-challenge.html Feel free to check it out if you've got the time. :)
Thanks for your response vonhaussen! She seems to be leveling fine, it's just that in the past on occasion, I've been able to bump her up to the next level outside of work hours by talking to her boss if she was close to the promotion anyway. Starting the work day with an empty progress bar is usually preferred to one that…
Really? Lol, I guess I always have my drs be the more stay at home types, so it's never come up before. My sim's style is courtesy of the randomizer in the game. I'm playing an apocalypse challenge so I can't change their appearance in any way (not yet at least)... I'm lucky he was dressed at all - he's insane (again…
Oh cool Shade! That makes my "Laundry Display" all the more impressive. I'm working on the Symphonic Restrictions now, which will allow me to set the weather to Spring part time - then it will be time for the big reveal! (Everything is covered by snow right now) I feel like one of those post modern artists, making…
Good idea Seera! I think I may leave some of them there for story purposes, but that is a good backup plan for when things become unmanageable. Thanks for the tip. :)
I ended up joining the Facebook group and asked there. It turns out that they are in the middle of making some changes on the website and changing Science to Biotechnology was one of them (or vice versa?) Anyway, to anyone wondering, Science is indeed the same as Biotechnology... so no washing machines until the next…
