Can I ask: Which careers become unavailable (or which careers are left available if that's easier) if a sim drops out? And on the other hand, can Teen sims who graduate early get a job? (Like a real adult job)
Just wanna chime in and say that I personally like it. Adding an option to 'Turn Off Phone', maybe next to 'Silence Phone' would be great though. Some sims like my technophobe mermaids living off-the-grid shouldn't use phones (or umbrellas).
Sucks that the auditorium is off-limits for Clubs. I had a plan to renovate the Auditorium's Stage into Theatre Stage for a Drama Club or even Band. I understand not wanting to mess up Prom, Career Day & Graduation, but the Auditorium (Default) state has nothing going on and could have been the perfect place for clubs like…
I don't understand the Trendi app. Where are the sims getting the clothes, and how are they selling them? With plopsy you craft clothes/items and ship them to buyers. Are you buying clothes from retail stores and upselling them for profit? What does it cost the seller to make an outfit?
That makes 4 CAS Kits, 4 B&B Kits, and only 1 Gameplay Kit. It would be one thing if they added something new to CAS; like maybe the ability to tuck & un-tuck shirts, button & un-button jackets, body hair, toggleable hoodies--something new like a new category in CAS. All this is, is more upper body, lower body & full body…
It's like they're trying to teach players how to play the game. It doesn't add anything since you can already play any scenario you want in your head. Sounds like content creator fodder.
- Set club hangouts by Time and Day of the week. - Add club requirements for Likes & Dislikes and Lifestyles. - Obviously, more club acitivies and fix club activities that don't work or are bugged. - Windenburg Festivals Olde Platz Chess Tournament near the giant landscaped chess sets. Windslar Neighborhood Grill-A-Thon…
Ouch... it's crazy you could buy Game Packs for 19.99 CAD back in 2015. At least Dream Home Decorator and Journey to Batuu now cost the same as every other Game Pack...--but now all at $30. Still can't bundle Cottage Living to offset these price increases.
I'm disappointed its not a gameplay kit-- but I like the modular pipes. I love adding realistic details and "fake ventilation" to all buildings. Sucks that B&B kits are more popular. At the start they released 1 gameplay kit, 1 CAS kit, and 1 B&B kit. I only bought Bust the Dust because I wanted to support gameplay going…
I got the impression that the pre-order bonus items were to curb sale purchases. Maybe we won't be able to bundle until after Sep 2. I still can't bundle yet either.
So odd to make them playable if playing them breaks the pub. What happens if I turn the Pub from a Bar to a Restaurant?--and what if there is no bar in HoB anymore? Does the game still spawn a "Pub Owner"?
The other GPs are selling for the same price they always have, DHD simply costed more out of the gate. Older DLC has never gone down in price; Outdoor Retreat (the first TS4 pack ever released) is still selling at full price.
I don't think they've ever delayed a pack due to bugs or QA. When ever the release date arrives, so does the new pack. Some bugs are so obvious that any tester would have run into it within minutes of live gameplay. They'll get to the bugs if and when they can.
To people talking about exchange rates: Dream Home Decorator is $5 more than the rest of the Game Packs (with the exception of Journey to Batuu). If ALL game packs jumped in price to $30 CAD, then that would explain it; but it's the fact that DHD is more expensive that is strange. It would be like if Paranormal Stuff Pack…
What the heck? I understand why Journey to Batuu is more expensive (SW licensing & stuff) But why is this pack 5$ more than the others? The cost of Game Packs has not gone up in Canada; it's just that Dream Home is $5 more for some reason. Not gonna buy this pack at this price.
This is a great idea. Having trait requirements for clubs makes it impossible for a sim to join a let's say... a musician club because they don't have the 'Music Lover' trait (outside the Re-Traiting Potion). Having a Likes/Dislikes requirement for clubs would allow sims the ability to work towards joining a club in order…
Based sub-categories the game already has: TV Channels Movie Genres There already is a system for movie genre preference, so maybe they can add 'Movies' as a TV Channel like/dislike option Temperature/Seasons/Weather Types This also has it's own preference system from Seasons, but the social wheel is already so cluttered…
Tabletop Roleplaying Kit Comes with a live draggable gameplay object that can be placed on any table like the Hot Pot. Can be played by Children and up; children gain Social, Motor, Creativity and Mental skill. Sims can "Write" Roleplaying Adventures and title them similar to writing novels. Sims can "Play Together", "Join…
The Speed Cleaner reward trait doesn't speed up vacuuming. I tested it with a Neat, Speed Cleaner VS a Slob and they both finished at the same time. To my surprise; commercial lots also use the Dust System. I'm happy about that but I didn't stay long enough to see whether or not Libraries and Gyms will ever get 'dirty'.…
The question is... will Kits ever go on sale? I hope so. That being said, I'm definitely getting the Dust one; it's the only one with gameplay and has something I've always wanted in the game. I really hope its been properly integrated in the game though-- like hopefully vacuuming completes 'Cleaning' holiday traditions,…
What's the difference between a KIT and a STUFF pack? The worst thing about this is more needless categories for things I call DLC. The best thing is adding dust and vacuuming to the game. I love new core gameplay content.
Looks cool. I'm wondering how much of the paranormal activity I saw in the trailer appears the same in-game (or if it was just trailer 'magic'). For example: lights flickering, candles being snuffed out, sounds of a crying baby.
