I agree. I love the counter and would like to see a complete kitchen matching. I'm hoping in the update they will surprise us and include new overhead cabinets as well. The shelf just doesn't cut it, its only 2/3 tiles wide (cant remember), thats not modular enough! It also doesn't include full pantry, etc.
I tried this. You can travel there, but the lot cannot be used. Similarly to when you visit a vacated house, or an occupied house before knocking on door. I was REALLY excited to see this. Maybe they can make it a viable option in patch? Unlikely I know, but a girl can dream.
I'm loving seeing all the recycled/re-used items! Like the bathtub sofa. It would be awesome to see that type of thing at the flea market in San Myshuno!
Ironic, EA is rarely considered generous. But in comparison to this deal, they are. I loved TS2, can't say I'm willing to give up my Mac or $30 to play it.
Like I said earlier, they are doing it in the sims free play to support the day without shoes movement. For every pair of toms you buy (in real life) they donate a pair to a child in need in Africa. NotSoLucky, they always team up with companies. Its a great two way advertising for both parties. Toyota, Ford, HM, IKEA,…
Another thing I missed about ALL these expansion packs, they came with an additional hood! You got the shopping district, downtown, vacation lots, I know theres more I just can't think of them. No trying to fit a billion lots into a tiny little hood!
I agree about WA, I never go abroad because its a chore and disappointment with the whole visa thing. My sims want to travel abroad for fun, not to be some international tomb raider.
I LOVED OFB! I want that so bad! I don't think it was very popular though. I'm studying interior design for commercial spaces, so I loved designing restaurants and salons and shops! So fun! My second favorite was apartment life. I loved that you could design an apartment building, and kind of wish LN brought more aspects…
I'm heavily impressed with the residential lots. They are by far the best EA has ever done. The community lots are okay, but it is very heavy on rabbit holes I feel. I would probably use this as my main hood if it was bigger and allowed for more expansion integration. I will probably port out a lot of the res lots though.…
Honestly, none of those SP ideas turned my crank. I voted for the party because I'd get most use out of that I think. I don't like the fantasy items, I never use them unless its sci-fi or modern looking.
So sick of these dilemas. EA should've planned for this and either made hoods big enough to begin with or expand all the hoods they create with each expansion. I've been redoing Sunset Valley and now with all these new show time lots I will hardly be able to fit one of each :(
