The childrens dollhouse - my Sims have an unhealthy obsession (even ones who you wouldn't expect) with kicking it and ruining it. They can never be bothered to fix it and my Sim child ends up crying.
I'm not a massive fun of the elder stage so I don't tend to have the kids live with them at that point. The kids normally have their own kids at that time so it works out fine.
This annoys me, animals shouldn't be the prime factor of the whims when there's stuff like family and work to take into consideration. Also in my current household, the family dog passed away, and the family are still getting whims to take the dog on a walk from owning a dog, which isn't even alive. It definitely needs…
My puppies hardly ate at all. I had to get them to eat because I was worried they were getting hungry, even though they weren't uncomfortable. It's a glitch I keep having, their bowl is full yet they don't eat and they go hungry, so I'm always mindful of that.
There's not a chance that I would carry on playing if that happened. Not only am I an utter control freak, I feel like this game would lose the uniqueness about it if it became like every other game. I think being able to create your world and play by yourself is what lots of people are after anyway.
It's great you're enjoying the game and the family aspects. I agree, there needs to be some form of distinction between an adult and a teenager and babies definitely do need TLC.
All the toddlers have a similar face and I can start telling who the child looks more like once they're children. I really love genetics in TS4, they're really accurate.
I'm prone to having a burst of obsession with playing TS4 for days on end to not switching it on for weeks out of pure boredom. I don't really try and stay motivated, trying out new challenges and playing between saves would of been my suggestion, but it seems you've already done that. I do wish every Sim was an individual…
I can't say I've ever had triplets in the game but I've had twins in a tiny apartment and I do have a tip for you. I would suggest having a room dedicated to the toddlers, with all their essentials and toys. You can line different food up and have a bath in there, so you don't have to be walking around and getting…
The dogs are actually fine - it's just very similar to real life where the dog requires more attention. The dog can go a day or two without a walk depending on their traits, some attention every few hours, they'll sleep literally anywhere, and getting an automatic food bowl is much better. You just have to find more of a…
Wow, everyone seems to have really high prices. I live on a 40x50 lot with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and the maximum cost of bills I've had is $1,500! I guess lots of it comes down to the furniture.
I never had Seasons in TS3, only because I had a rubbish computer and I was afraid of even more lag. I would love for Seasons to be the next expansion pack for sure.
I much prefer small dogs, I've always found big dogs slightly intimidating, not if they're super calm though. I want to start playing with bigger dogs because I do have one in real life and the hugging animation is adorable.
