You just placed the top part on the ground without the pit or the platform? I have done that before but she looks very small and underwhelming that way, lol. That can't be the issue. They are carpets, so not seen as obstructions by Sims, plus this is a meticulous replica of the default lab: the floor vines are in the exact same spots in the default lab as they are here and the default Mother Plamt is functional. Thank you guys. I got really mixed answers on this from different sources. Some said yes, others said no. I decided not to risk my progress and just stick with Master Vampire the entire 20 days. Basically just had her hibernate in a coffin for 20 days straight. It was so boring, but I eventually completed the aspiration.

No, child support in any way, shape, or form is strictly not allowed. The donors must not contribute to the household in any way at all, financially or otherwise. Their only job is to impregnate the matriarch, then leave. They are not to have any connection to the household afterwards.

Yeah I like the dig spots, but I don't like that they replace regular rock spawners. We need less of them outside Brindleton Bay, I think. I dig them up just to get rid of them so normal rock spawners can show up there later.

If repairing doesn't work, move the donors in but make sure they are not contributing to the household in any way. No jobs, no selling craftables, no helping out with the kids.
