no oliver, my experience with the ea tech-team is really different. they were looking into my uploading problem, tried everything, gave every possible suggestions etc., when nothing helped they even tried to upload a lot for me (which was also impossible); only then they forwarded this problem to the patch-department and…
ROFL, some ppl just can´t make a difference between hint and real history ^^ the game has always hidden hints, but a war that actually HAS been in europe won´t influence the sims games i´d say ;-) but horse riding, something many simmers had always asked for, could possibly mean that there´s an EP in development which has…
i wouldn´t like weather in TS3 to be honest, only if we can disable it ^^ i hated when my simmies always changed clothes whenever they left or entered the house! time consuming, wasn´t it ;-) but farming sounds nice and many simmers have been whining for it for long ^^ i´d like it myself, but i´m always curious what NEW…
OMG sketch, is that really true? i mean it sounds somewhat logical, if a sim decides to change career "in the past" by free will... this is a little nightmare besides the kids spawning out of the time machine ;-) yes, i let them travel by the machine as often as possible currently, to get all the outfits and special items…
did you clean install your game? which means: first of all SAVE your progress before you do anything else (copy/paste your whole sims-folder to desktop eg), put out all 3rd party CC and all hacks off your game before installing etc...? you could always try to replace your save-game (if you did save) and try if everything…
yeah i know, you can save a residential lot with paintings and everything and it will be there. but i think i´d rather upload the "semi-shell" (sculptures added but no paintings/sketches) than a residential with a sim, cause if the sim places the paintings/sketches and THEN switches to public, they´ll be gone again (this…
thanks :) in addition: now my heir hopped suddenly, after she had advanced to lvl 6 criminal. now she´s in the sports career, totally uninteresting to me atm :( she had been "bug-free" so far, but it looks like she caught the "virus" from her mom... (lost another stoneage-gnome btw., crash to desktop again grrr) AND: the…
good thread, thx for the opportunity to post here! i experience various major bugs BUT since i patched my game to the latest version - it performanced perfectly well after installing EP2! here the worst bugs: error codes 12, 16 and crashes to desktop my game is absolutely clean, NO CC, no hacks ever used. the errors occur…
heya starby! thank you so much, makes me happy that you like some of my stuff :) have fun with it! more to come, just can´t upload lots atm :( even lvl III EA-technician can´t upload them LOL, there´s a major bug since the last patch (why did i patch my game, it ran so smoothly after installing EP2...) anyway, happy…
thx, BUT: your family can hang up sketches/paintings, even if they haven´t bought the galery. the thing is - i tried all the before mentioned suggestions - they aren´t saved! i finished my exhibition for the 3rd time (that´s really time-consuming, cause i don´t just hang them up but try to make themed areas, many sketches…
thank you all so much for your suggestions and tips! i´ll try again, just like you mentioned... may be ONE time the game lets me do something i really want! ha :) @ judyland: thanks a bunch, it´s so nice of you to say so :) glad you like my work!
easy, either let a sim read a skillbook on sculpting or buy him/her a sculpting-bench in buy mode; as soon as he/she has at least 1 skill-lvl he/she can go to the city hall and subscribe as a freelance sculptor (same for fishing, gardening eg). you can subscribe by phone, computer or let your sim go to the city hall…
i´m not a fan of "give us all the TS2-stuff". hot tubs are nice though, but i don´t think they´re late. and they shouldn´t have been in the base game, cause this is TS3, not TS2... i´m really happy with all the NEW stuff we got with this game now and i´m looking forward to all the creative aspects we´ll get in future :)
as a builder, i wish we could finally customize roofs! not only with our own patterns, but differently looking roofs on ONE lot (so - if i build a lot with some small houses on it, one would have a black roof, the other a red one, etc...) and as i saw a real pool on top of a skyscraper, i´m hoping for rooftop-pools to be…
in the teaser vid we can see a real pool on top of the skyscraper - might be that we´ll be enabled to build rooftop-pools ourselves. this aspect alone makes me happy :P anyway, i won´t give an opinion before i could test the EP. other than this i´m curious, it looks and sounds nice to me!
what a nice build td! i really love the architecture, and the oldfashioned interior fits it perfectly well :) rec for this, keep up your great work! greetings, archi :)
oh nina, this lot is so AWESOME!!! can i rent it for my real holiday? ;-) dreaming of a real world with all the beautiful houses from TS3-builders - yours would be one for sure! :) going to leave a rec... keep up your great work! archi ps.: i LOVE your steampunk-lot, too! reported the reupload for you btw :)
oh thx kittkat :) it´s always nice to know that someone has fun with the stuff! creating patterns is a really old addiction of mine ;-) going to look for your greek revival :-)
thanks alli, i´m almost always busy in some way in ts3 ;-) stopped the pattern-mania now for a while, and as i can´t upload properly, i stopped building, too. well, gives me some time to play actually, and find out what my simmies are up to  one is stuck a few millimeters in the earth in a lot where she´s been seeking…
HERE comes my new collection of patterns, this time with kids and baby themes. Glad the launcher uploaded them & hope you like them! See 1st page/1st post for download-link and more pics (walk-through). Thank you! Greetings & happy simming, Archi
Aww that sucks Clayworld! If you install the lot to your game, the patterns should add themselves automatically! So sorry it doesn´t work for you :-( @ Eve: Thanks a lot, I´m happy, your feedback proofs that they install - and i´m of course happy that you like them :) @ Allium: I´ve created a lot with old and odd brick…
nice build kittkat! i love the "waterfall" and the shape of your house, nicely furnished as well :) going to rec it for you :) greetings & happy simming archi
hi again peace :) Beautiful house! i specially love the roof-construction, and the bathroom is a special, too - as always, nice use of MOO. running to rec this, curious to see your next :) (my launcher unfortunately decides to NOT let me upload my latest build...) have a nice week! archi
