I think the main issue is that most other expansion packs at least have something else worthwhile to offer for those who aren't interested in the main feature. And if they didn't, they at least had the courtesy to be game packs so the expansion packs could be saved for a theme that actually would facilitate multiple…
Much like the gameplay trailer, that livestream didn't really show us anything that we didn't already know. Leaning eeeeeever so much closer to just skipping this pack.
Yeah that gameplay trailer did absolutely nothing for me aside from confirming that if I do get this pack, it would only be for the nectar. Like....is it just me or did it make this pack feel...kinda empty for an expansion?
Much as I don't like skipping out on expansion packs, I might have to do that for this one. Or at least wait till I can get it for cheaper since I really only want the nectar making station. The pack as a whole doesn't look bad. Just....unappealing to me. I'm not a fan of the whole "DLC for a DLC" thing which is why I also…
I'm almost willing to bet that's where the "upgrades" begin and end. Nothing I've seen, from the trailer to the leaked pack description, suggests these horses will be all that different from the ones in TS3. Except kids can ride them now....So there's one big plus I suppose.
Kinda figured it would be, but this is definitely gonna be a "wait till it's on sale" pack. Not too pumped about an entire expansion centered around the worst part of TS3's pets pack. I was just....so incredibly unimpressed with Cottage Living Part 2-I mean...."Horse Ranch". I can't remember the last time I've seen an…
Dang, I was about to be SO happy to be wrong. But alas, in the life section for me, it only lists my sim's first child. :( Did your two children happen to be twins?
You're right. It's not a whole memory system. And that's pretty much what my whole complaint boils down to. The fact that it's not. I didn't say that they said it would be. I'm just saying it should have been. It's so similar to TS2's memory system that I'm really struggling to see what the point was in limiting it to just…
So as much as I'm enjoying this pack....I can't help but be a little disappointed in the milestone mechanic. Why was this just milestones? Why couldn't it be a full blown memory system? My sims basically only remember their firsts for everything. I just had a sim get back from the hospital after delivering their second…
I'd recommend joining her discord to keep up with the status of her mods. They're pretty good at keeping people up to date. Like...we literally just got word from her staff yesterday. Just be mindful that modding is not these people's lives, nor is it their job. Stacie almost quit once before because people started getting…
Felt kinda barebones compared to most gameplay trailers, but it definitely got my attention with that milestones feature. I've been saying for years that I want TS2's memory system back, so if that's what this is about to be then I am definitely getting this pack. The only concern I really have so far is the grandparents…
As someone who actually does think teens in this game need more attentention, no. This pack didn't really enhance my game all that much. Just like active careers, following my sims to school got old real fast. This was pretty much another pack that I got just for the world and build/buy stuff.
My only big complaint is how friggin humungous that treehouse is. Especially when compared to the TS3 treehouses that were already huge. Don't know how many of my middle class/suburban sims will be able to fit those in their back yards. Would be nice if we had an option for a smaller one that only needs one tree to make,…
Ugh. That's what I figured. Considering how often these clubs meet, that pretty much means your sims' classmates will show up to school in matching outfits every day -____-
What even triggers graduation now? That's something I wish they had covered in the live stream because I have no clue how to actually do it. Is it supposed to happen when your teen sims age up to YA?
Is anyone else Okay I thought it was just me. Like a mod issue or something. Every time one of my sim's friends from school comes over, they immediately ask her dad out to prom and get bummed when he says no. Every. Single. Time. At one point even her boyfriend asked her dad out! The more I read this thread, the more I'm…
I've been having that problem in addition to all of them just being lousy gardeners. If you leave to their devices, everything they plant WILL die. They are terrible at maintaining the things that they planted.
Jeez. I didn't even think about that. This game is already SUPER unfriendly to rotational players (still mad I had a sim graduate from university while I wasn't playing as them). Just thinking about all the ways this pack could make that worse is nerve wracking XD
So far, like what everyone else has been saying, my only big complaint is how the sims still look too much like adults. Take out prom and this is basically University 2.0 . Speaking of, a second school expansion pack seems kind of redundant. Even if it does seem a lot more alive than University. Speaking of, I wonder how…
I really wish they had taken this opportunity to fix teens so that they look more like...teens. Or at least introduced a preteen stage like in Freeplay. If you took out prom, this trailer would look like it's for a second University pack. That said...it does still look like it'll be a lot of fun. Loving the carnival, all…
I'd wait for this pack to go on sale. The world is nice but not great. The added formal wear is nice but you I don't really consider clothes to be a good enough reason to buy a pack since I can always get better looking stuff as free CC. And the weddings, while not game breaking anymore, are still way too glitchy for me to…
Is there a way to save some of these werewolf designs as like...templates or something for my sims? I've seen quite a few AMAZING ones like these that I'd like in my game.
