There are several on your list that I have absolutely no interest in, but not necessarily what I would describe as "overrated". Farming though. Definitely overrated 😂
It doesn't sound like you got scammed, it sounds like EA got jealous that you dared purchase one of their games at a reasonable price from somewhere else... You shouldn't find the same issue with Steam because they seem more than happy to share.
Ah, another Game Pack being upsold as an Expansion Pack, is it? That's enough for me to wait until a 50% sale. Huh? @Simmingal - what do you mean unusable shells?
I'm aware of it, just haven't used it. I also liked The Sims 2 memories. Although there were a lot of tedious, unnecessary memories that really cluttered the memory timeline lol
I liked this from The Sims 2. I also liked the "Story Book" for each neighbourhood. I used to update it strictly with a new photo and bio each time I rotated to a different household.
I wouldn't mind a row of terraced houses. I've not travelled much of America at all, but The Sims homes look and feel mostly based on there - condos, small wooden homes, larger mansions and apartment buildings. TV shows and movies give me the impression that Americans don't have attached houses? @king_of_simcity7 - I'm…
+1 - Should be able to skip events / holidays. Why does my single, hermit, miserable Sim want to celebrate Christmas or NYE! Alone!! I've improved things by expanding the calendar to max.
Perhaps that is why so many people consider TS4 to be vanilla and topics raised complaining about personalities, emotions, whims and general gameplay are in their hundreds 🤷🏼♂️ IMO, except for a few rather useful Build tools being unavailable for this game, The Sims 4 is undoubtedly the best builder of the entire…
Not off topic, but you're assuming the complaints come from people who still own it, can get it or have slightly dated PCs that will still run it. If EA released the complete collection again with a version like TS4 Legacy option, but for newer models, I'd never touch The Sims 4 again.
Sounds like EA wants the monopoly through Origin. Can't blame them when money is involved. Although I rarely find EA games elsewhere for much cheaper? I have more luck with Steam games.
Personally, not an aspect I would explore. I see many complaints about Sim personalities feeling "samey" despite different traits. So, learning difficulties / behaviours might fall flat.
I absolutely loved TS2 but struggled once the graphics became outdated 😢 I hated TS3 but gave TS4 a chance to provide me the enjoyment that TS2 did. It failed. I hugely regret buying it. Worse still, I asked for packs from family for Birthday / Xmas, hoping it would improve the game for me. It failed again. If I could, I…
This isn't strictly true. Remastering seems quite popular recently. Even EA has had a go 🤔 I'm on your "side". Remastered TS2 with all Expansions would be it for me 👍🏼
