Season 1, Episode One: "Trash to Treasure" Synopsis: The Queens are tasked by Morgyn to go dumpster diving to find garbage that they might transform into couture outfits. Plot Spoilers:
Yup it's happening to me too. Everyone, each and every single sim just stands around after entering a building, or a room, or before or after or while in the middle of completing a task and will take several seconds on in-game time to show me just how utterly and hopelessly BORED they are. Several times with the same sim,…
This sounds like something an underfunded indie developer would pitch to their kickstarter benefactors, not a fully-fledged AAA company like EA (who should be budgeting the devs, not us). The Sims 4 will go down in the history of the franchise as one of the biggest scams ever.
Of course the devs had a large say in it, people have been saying this for years but for some reason others have created the narrative that the gurus were being held against their will and other simmers have just chosen to believe it. People need to stop babying the dev teams and allow all of the responsible parties of a…
Ah yes the good ol' "I love this game and if you don't like it then leave" approach. Nevermind actually discussing the issues that many people in the community are having with this game, no because someone's own first-world experience and happiness matters more. I wish I could get paid by EA to shill so hard...
It is the same with other AAA dev teams, people frequently tell others to not criticize Bethesda because apparently they are being held against their will by Zenimax, and are helpless to do anything about it. It's the same situation here with EA & Maxis, I think criticism should go to who deserves it (primarily being EA)…
I think a lot of the (justified) fan outrage isn't necessarily with Journey to Batuu, but EA/Maxis' priorities of late, which of course like all major AAA companies is to make money. However the outrage I believe really stems from little to no transparency on the end of Maxis, little or no community interaction, six years…
That's true, and maybe it's just me but I see posts like: "don't like x, don't buy it" or "if you don't like x-topic, leave" as attempts at shutting down a meaningful discussion about the company and it's products. People may or may not like a certain pack, but they should be allowed to voice their criticisms.
Not surprising, the board probably takes all sorts of ideas from the dev team and chooses what they believe will be the most profitable regardless of fan demand.
I know I'm in the minority groupthink here, but yea actually I am excited for the new GP. My only complaint as far as SW-themed content goes is that it's based on the modern trilogy rather than the classic that made the franchise what it is, aside from that it looks like it has potential.
That's called "streamlining" and all of the major AAA companies are guilty of it at the moment, and if the rumors turn out to be true that TS5 is online then it will be TS4 all over again.
Only if Maxis releases a TS5 trailer that features open world/neighborhoods (ala Sims 3), toddlers, ladders, cops, robbers, firemen, aliens, better examples of emotional reactions (sims cheating, fighting, embarrassed, etc). I've already said it a million times before, but do we want a TS5 that is essentially a TS4 clone?…
I have always hated that they misuse the term "guru", like when I hear guru I think of some wiseperson meditating on a peak who has immeasurable oceans of knowledge to share or realistically someone who knows the product inside and out and can explain the situation without getting emotional or relying on pat-answers. These…
At the end of the day it doesn't really matter, the EA marketing heads will send out free "Journey to Batuu" packs to all the company shills (i.e. "Game Changers"), one lukewarm review will net thousands of downloads from each of the Simtuber's follower base. The only thing that will really make a difference now is…
I had just uploaded a short teaser clip for the premiere of my Sims 4 Drag Race project starring Morgyn Ember and twelve drag contestants. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cupcCZPBSmA
