First, thank you for creating those awesome challenges. The other entries all look stunning. <3 Second, adding a whimsical touch to everything worked well for a Winter theme imo, and I still need the practice, lol. Decided to go with an hour-glass as a base to represent 'time', the columns make up the rest of it from an…
This has been an issue for a while now. The thing about previous installments of the franchise is, in my opinion, that they all had personality, humor that wasn't skittish, charm, and a bit of cheekiness thrown in that solidified the series. Plus, it had enough content in the BG to still be fun without an M rating. Except…
The Halloween party. Mom and dad really get into the spirit of Halloween as Sabrina comforts her twin after dad said she couldn't wear that too short-not-in-my-house-young-lady dress, she only wanted to impress her new friends. *sad face* Zora looks on, an expression molded somewhere between constipated and mildly happy to…
Sorry to go off topic, but can anyone just randomly participate in this? I'd wanted to add a creation but the week rolled by so fast I forgot to ask, lol.
Torn between this and Lots, but ultimately I feel there's enough of both Lots and Sims to go around tenfold. Most are great and really innovative, but it seems clutter/etc. tend to get a bit neglected. I wouldn't mind paintings of different sizes/colors/shapes since I don't bother with the 'lag-gallery' much. Paintings…
You got: Alexandra Medford (The Witches of Eastwick) Any version of Cher would make a dynamic costume, but her Eastwick outfits are super sexy and very on theme. This one definitely requires two BFFs to be your Jane and Suki — or at the very least, a dashing man to be your Daryl Van Horne. Either way, you're going to be…
Get you somebody who can do both... in bunny slippers. :) I love how our little semi-diva/singer-to-be decided to grill burgers before school IN PJ'S, have it catch fire because apparently she forgot she's a plum cook, and then ultimately gives up by letting them burn. Her sisters weren't much help running away with the…
Aww, I'm sorry to hear the holidays aren't working for you. :( I've seen a few threads with holidays either not occurring or can't be added to the calendar. I haven't experienced any issues lately, but is everything updated to the newest patch for you? Are the holiday tasks already greyed out? It could be a mod problem if…
This. I am so glad I didn't rush to buy due to hype and wait for reviews/LP's. Though IP had its issues, I felt it was still worth the effort. Nraas fixed a majority of stuff, so I didn't have too many problems. The house boats and dive lots were a good addition. Two things I'd find myself really liking about IL are the…
Would've said Paranormal, but sadly, I did not take care of poor Sam and Dean well enough back then, so... I still liked the careers in this version, they had a better sense of creativity, but being self-employed is best because you get more flexible hours and time with the family to explore what 3 had to offer. My sims…
Same. I wanted to tie that freaking sweater around his head. Amazing what a few pieces of nice clothes and some stubble can do, eh? - My Sims don't even pick out their clothes. I am a terrifying Sim god, hear me rawr. - Using mods for drama. - Not having the kids help more around the house, it seems like every save I start…
I can get behind that. It could also be a lot more in-depth than Sixam. But the only way I can see the weird plants and such happening in a sense is with the new Realm of Magic pack, though it may not be what you described. It would have been great if we could live on Sixam. It was so intriguing to me when looking back at…
Loved Bonehilda! She was actually more reliable than a normal maid, and entertaining - like hitting up the bar one too many times, but hey, it's a part of her unapologetic charm. She'd sometimes help out with babies if they were crying too. My favorite thing about her was the coffin she came with doubled as a…
Yeah, I doubt we'll get a real fix for any of the other problems in this thread, disappointing, however I'm glad they fixed that 'can't go upstairs to eat/use litterbox' bit. I don't know if it's just my game or what, but my raccoon/cat follows the family foot to foot around the house. They don't even have to be that…
Tried the test but the link on the page didn't take me there, tried the same test on another site and somehow received Chaotic Evil..... Chaotic Good it is, then. I'm not evil, no matter what my Sims say...:hushed:
All these years and I didn't know you could stick a baby in the inventory. Doh! *slaps forehead, cackles and twirls evil mustache* But seriously. I agree with your points on interaction and providing better cribs. Sims 2 had a decent selection of baby furniture and toys, 4 feels very rushed, similar to toddlers when they…
"Toddler’s Needs will now always be refilled while they’re at daycare." "Stilt Foundations." (You have no idea how long we've been waiting for this, hello modern beach house...) Welp, my Sim can die happy now. The Lounge Chair feels like the white shelf scenario all over again, I didn't think it'd ever happen, lol.
Exactly. I'm tired of achievements altogether, no one talks about them nor do they have any real effect in-game (i. e. Providing points as Whims do when a player gets an achievement or something along those lines.). As for the loading screen, I suppose one way to look at it is that they aren't spoiling certain aspects of a…
Yes, please. This would've been a great addition to the Romantic Garden or Vintage Glamour packs and it's a shame we need a mod in order to achieve it. I rather like the idea of a Father-daughter dance too, it would make them feel more like they're part of a family. Swinging and Salsa dancing are nice as well. And bring…
Jet Ski's. I'm gonna ski 'till I can't ski no more. Jokes aside, at least we can swim in the ocean. I'm kind of interested in seeing how this will work in First-Person mode, if possible. Volcanos - it would be cool if Sims could 'mysteriously' vanish in them... For story purposes, of course. That, and hopefully we'll have…
You're not alone! I'd love that. I've said on other threads that we need more risks/consequences. Magic should still keep the player on their toes, imo, otherwise it's boring to have something go right all the time. We have a bookcase door, but honestly it's kinda lame. Seeing a Sim actually push a book aside and pull a…
Definitely not a rehash of the Good/Bad Witch dynamic. Please, no. Far too limited for my tastes, but they should certainly keep the dueling, I loved having 'teacher and apprentice' type of duels. If there were Dragons, I'd prefer the ones from MM, Dragon Valley was a half-plum effort, sorry, the premise was good but the…
I felt lackluster about Island Living. In 3 we had Island Paradise and the only reason I brought it was to complete the 'Occult collection' because it had Mermaids, despite its somewhat fixable lag issues. I'm debating if it's the same for 4, considering they usually have small worlds (not really an issue, as long as my…
I know the majority voted Seasons and I wholly agree, but GTW added quite a lot to gameplay back then. Time travel, your own personal ROCKET, following your sim to work, etc. I still think Sixam is one of the most beautiful worlds we have, despite its limited replay value.
Never really saw the appeal of having a cluttered exterior and won't be any help in that regard, though I do like creating pathways and different angles by utilizing hedges and flowers. I hate squeezing by a bunch of plum spaced stuff just to get from point A to point B in RL, so it just bleeds over into the game, haha....…
I agree. Even though we can create our own, it can be kind of a hassle setting everything up correctly just to get some veggies and whatnot. I'm a little surprised we can't have ready made meals delivered for the career driven Sim, considering the direction this franchise seems to be taking... I hope not, though, my Sims…
