While this should've been in Get Famous, if it's a music pack, that would be something I'd actually purchase. Personally, I think the instruments and the singing in the game is very well done. I used to make my Sim grab the guitar and just listen to him sing and play for a while, exploring all the music. I just want bands,…
If memory serves, Grant was asked about doing a remaster of TS2 and he replied that there were no plans for it since content for TS4 is still being released. This was... maybe 2 years ago? He said something along the lines of: "We can either keep releasing content for TS4 or remaster TS2." Honestly, I'd rather see them…
Me, for example. I purchased Perfect Patio because I wanted hot tubs at the time. But now I just feel stupid for doing so. I just tried to play today and usually I can last at least a week with any game I have a lot of fun in. I couldn't play TS4 for more than a few days up until yesterday when I just got so bored... but I…
Your original post was confusing (and still is) since most native speakers of English would naturally assume you were trying to say that you thought the content we got was way too much until we read further. It's not a huge deal and I'm not criticizing, but choosing more precisely would avoid this confusion with future…
Oh no, I've no issue with the expenses for traveling. I was just mentioning it for those who might. Although I had forgotten about that reward, so that will help those who also did.
At this point, the OP would be hard-pressed to ignore the overwhelmingly positive response to their question... and I am among that response. World Adventures is an expansion I greatly endorse. The enviroments are screenshot worthy, the tombs are fun as I love having goals to complete and danger to face. I haven't even…
They've explicitly stated that Maxis will not support mods. Because The Sims is their product and franchise, it's their choice to do so. I'm afraid you'll have to deal with it like the rest of us. I'll concede, on principle, I agree. I await the day TS4 will stop being updated and I can mod to my heart's content. But…
I'm in agreement, somewhat. I don't "hate" the TS3's artstyle, but I had a big problem with how blocky the characters looked, especially the men. It took me a good 10 minutes or so to find a mod that fixes it a bit. But if there's at least one thing TS4 has that I prefer over TS3, it's the character models. If TS5 decides…
Putting aside my thoughts that the OP may not actually think this is a good idea and is just trying to start something, not only would such a system be completely unrealistic, but as the responses indicate, it would turn off the majority of the Simming community for obvious reasons, especially if it was a forced option…
It's not that we need to use our imagination, the problem, for me at least, is how much of it I need to use. I'm a goal-oriented player. In TS3, there is so much for me to do that I'll be very entertained with the game for months trying to complete it. With it, I'm trying to make my one male Sim max out all of the…
Why have you stopped? Despite how much I rag on the game, I'm actually preparing for a session of playing it today. The only reason I still play is because the modding community is fantastic and has managed to make the game interesting. If it weren't for them, my story would be similar to everybody else's here. Have you…
This is an idea for an update, not any kind of pack. And I disagree with the height differences idea. Too little would be barely noticable and if it was noticable, the animations wouldn't be aligned. Throughout the entire series, Sims have been the same height for their respective ages for a reason. From a development…
Why not? Miscarriages don't have to be graphic or anything that pushes the game towards an M rating and it being a game isn't a rational reason on why it can't be in the game. Adding in more birthing options and such would expand on the gameplay. Why would it being a game matter? As for miscarriages, they can be handled…
I think Stuff Packs were supposed to replace the store, so for me, no. I already dislike Stuff Packs. No, they'll move on from TS4. (can't wait) As I understand it, they will continue to make content for the game until it literally cannot sustain anymore content.
I play both TS3 and TS4 and to put things in perspective... With TS3, I install CC, mods to give me control over how the game plays out and functions, and mods to help keep it stable. Basically, NRaas and its modules. I do not install mods that add gameplay and things to do. With TS4, I install CC, mods to give me control…
As much as I advocate calling out EA, when it comes to putting out poorly made content and then said content sells well, that's partly (a huge part) on the fault of the community. If the Sims community will continue to buy packs that are worth half their asking price, EA will continue to put out said packs because they…
Because I use MCCC, I can just freeze their physiques so my Sims never gain or lose weight nor do I have to constantly go in CAS to fix them. Because of this, I don't care what they eat. It also helps if they want to autonomously use workout machines and I don't want them to gain muscle.
Well, the Servo itself is just a specialized Sim with an outfit on. You remove the outfit, you'd see the Sim. So this isn't too surprising, actually. Would make a hilarous story, though.
Would it even work? I know TS2 had cars, but how did they work exactly? A lot of the lots in TS4 don't have roads, so wouldn't they look a bit out of place?
I'm having a similar problem to this person. I can't purchase items or leave my house since all pop-up menus just greet me with a pink circle. Does anyone know what mod is causing this? I'd research it myself, but I just spent all day testing my game for crashing. (It was the Sorcerer mod and Neil's mods causing it -.-)…
I'm having some strange issues. I've installed the latest version of MCC, version 6.6.2, but the game won't detect it for some reason. It's as if it isn't installed at all, but it's in the right folder. Very confused.
