Honestly, it would be nice if they brought back clothes shopping like in TS2 in the new Moschino stuff pack. Although I doubt it. I just hope they don't put any English lettering on the clothes (Simlish only).
I'm not surprised if we won't be able to swim in the other worlds, but hopefully, all new worlds from now on will have swimmable water. I hope we can at least do sand activities in other worlds, such as in Brindleton Bay.
I didn't know curved architecture was considered feminine? I assume they will add those features eventually as they have continued to give us new build options over time.
About a month ago I went back and played TS3 for the first time in a long time. Although I loved how much depth there was with the interactions you had with sims, and the seamless traveling throughout the world was nice... I couldn't get over the terrible graphics, the empty feel of the "open" world, the rabbit holes, the…
I'm pretty sure EA has to go through more of a process to have things approved by Sony and Microsoft to release it on their consoles, which means console content will probably always be released after it's been released on PC.
I find it interesting that I had mouse lag on my Xbox, but when I went to my boyfriend's last night to watch him play on his Xbox, he didn't have mouse lag. So I guess it's not affecting everyone.
I see TS4 as being a better sequel from TS2 rather than TS3. People love to complain about how they took away the open worlds in TS4, but they at least vastly improved what we had as "worlds" in TS2. In TS2, they technically didn't even have "worlds". We played on very limited-spaced lots, and our surroundings consisted of…
If you're looking for a gaming laptop but don't want to fork over up to $2000, I would recommend one of Dell's G series laptops. They have all of the gaming hardware you would need at a more affordable price.
I went into the mouse settings and adjusted the mouse speed which certainly helped with how fast it moves, but I still notice a lag. Is this just me? Also yes I have used the Sims 3 camera and it works just like on PC.
I tried out the new keyboard + mouse support for console and it doesn't even feel like I'm playing it on console anymore, it feels just like when I have my PC connected to my TV while I play! The only downside is that it seems like the mouse has some movement lag to it. I don't know if that was intentional? Other than…
This is so exciting for console players! I've been so tempted to double dip and buy the game on console just so I could have the experience of getting cozy in bed while I play on my TV, but using those complicated controls and the limited camera movements really turned me off. Now I just need them to release the Gallery on…
Honestly, I'm mostly disappointed with the laptops they gave us. I was dying to have laptops back in the game and was so excited when they announced their return. However, it turned out to just be a reskin of the computers we already have except they're draggable and can be put in inventories. Our sims can't open/close…
The way I see it, Strangerville is what "The Sims Life Stories" was to The Sims 2 and "The Sims Medieval" was to The Sims 3, except this time they're putting it into the actual game rather than making it a standalone game. Considering it is a game pack and not an exansion pack, it makes sense that this won't really be…
Although I'm disappointed our next pack won't be something we've been asking for like University or Witches, I'm looking forward to this. I like that we're getting something more original this time around rather than a remake of pasts packs like we've been getting.
That's strange. I use the Sims 3 camera style as well and mine is working just fine. It sounds like your game is using the Sims 4 camera. Are you sure your game didn't switch camera styles on you?
Usually partially up, but I'll put all walls up if my sim is in a larger room and it's not blocking my sight from anything. Playing with all walls down is such a pet peeve of mine. :s
I never played with her in TS3 but I loved having her be the housekeeper at the Goth's residence in TS1. I guess she never made an appearance in TS2, did she?
I'm sure consoles will receive the Lunar New Year patch as well, but it will probably be out a little later. Up until now, the console has been receiving everything the PC games have through patches, it just comes out a bit later.
I first discovered The Sims franchise when I was a kid. I was given The Sims 1 as a Christmas present for console (PS2). I fell in love with the game and played all of the other Sims games that were available for console at the time, including The Sims 2 (which was even better). It wasn't until years later when I was in…
