This is super helpful! I always wondered why my Sims would take their food into the bathroom to prepare it, or put the extras on the bathroom counter instead of the kitchen. So thank you!
I made one yeeeeears ago, but I don't remember if I ever actually used it in game. I just know I was messing around with SC4 and thought it would be kind of fun to create a series of terrains that connected that I could use for my main 'hood and all the subhoods.
TS2 is my favorite, but I also enjoy TS4. If my laptop could handle it, I would gladly play both games. But for now, I'm playing solely TS2 since it only lags if I play for hours or if I'm on a large lot.
Something I just noticed the other day is that when it's raining, you can actually see the rain running down the roof. I was so distracted by that that I almost missed my Sim getting abducted. :D
I have an Android right now and I've had them in the past, but they've all crapped out on me after a few months. I didn't have problems with my iPhone, so I'm switching back as soon as we can upgrade.
I think a big part of playing a family for a long time is enjoying playing them. If all of your Sims are the same and do the same things every generation, it gets really boring. That's why I like playing challenges so that each generation is a little bit different.
Thank you @rosemow for the greeting. I've been taking pictures of my sims for so long that I needed somewhere to use them, haha. It all started back on the Exchange when I discovered legacy stories, and I've been a shameless sims picture taker ever since.
Jumping on this bandwagon with my two cents. I've been playing the Sims 2 since 2006. I played the Sims 3 for several years, but then it just got too laggy and I changed back to TS2. The Sims 4 is good, but it's one of those games that I play for a few months, forget about, and then go back to, etc. I've always played TS2…
Fall! It's my favorite season in real life and I'm always tempted to just set the weather to fall all four seasons. In one of my current 'hoods, I have it set to Fall-Spring-Fall-Spring because those are the seasons I like the most. Less chance of burning or freezing. Also how I feel in real life, haha.
When I first started playing, I would usually just play the premades, with an occasional family that I made. Then I discovered the exchange and found out about legacies, and I've been doing my own families ever since. I will still occasionally play one of the premade 'hoods, but it never lasts long before I go back to my…
Last night I was playing my OWBC family and all three kids are off to college now. I'm about to go in game and play them, I think. I also have an heir poll going and when I went to bed last night, there was a clear winner who had 30 votes more than the other two. Now a DIFFERENT kid has 30 more votes. Things changed quick.…
Hey guys! I was able to mess around with the scorecard to make it so that it adds up all the points for you. @Ashleigh825 would you be okay with me posting a link to it for people to use it?
I've always loved Pleasantview. Strangetown is a close second, but I don't care about the others as much. Anytime I start a new challenge, unless I create my own 'hood for it, I'm in Pleasantview or Strangetown.
Stardew Valley is one of my favorites and I have it on Steam and my Xbox. XD I also really like the Assassin's Creed games and the Nancy Drew PC games.
The last one I saw was Ready Player One. It wasn't super accurate to the book, but it was still a really well made movie (anything by Stephen Spielberg is) and I enjoyed it. I'd definitely recommend it if you're into 80's pop culture references and video games and what could happen to society in the future.
Hi guys! I'm simsterlyrock (you can call me Riss). I've been playing the Sims for a verrrrrry long time, and TS2 is my favorite version of the game. I'd play TS4 more if it wasn't so laggy on my laptop. Maybe one day when I get a nicer computer I can play more! I post a lot of gameplay on my tumblr and my livejournal, both…
