I was not implying UE5 would automatically equal first-person camera mode. I was saying I hope TS5 doesn’t get carried away with first-person camera mode in general, especially since the graphics will be improved. It needs to be optional like it is now. Regarding the screenshot, it’s definitely a grungy vibe to it to me.
I just hope they don’t focus too much on first-person mode. First-person mode camera angle in games gives me a headache. So if they do that, I will have to completely skip TS5. Most games I’ve seen with super realistic graphics end up looking grungy, urban. Idk how The Sims would be able to use UE5 without having that same…
There should definitely be more Part-Time jobs. I downloaded a mod that allows my Sim to have multiple jobs simultaneously and I’ve been having more fun from them working 3/4 menial jobs than I ever have with them in one career. Something about the daily grind I find entertaining. I have a few new job mods but I would of…
Yes. Every instance of my Sim either being asleep (if they live alone) or off the lot at a rabbit hole should result in the game going into Hyperspeed.
Worlds that are too bright give me a headache. So Sulani is completely out of the question. StrangerVille and Forgotten Hollow always put me in a happy mood.
UE5 was just released though. So if they plan on using it for TS5, that means they haven’t even started working on the game yet. Most will not be happy about that. There will be many more years of TS4 after all it seems.
The backdrop in Newcrest is so uninspiring. I literally just plop down businesses in that world, hardly visiting, and that’s all. It’s quite boring so no I wouldn’t want another world like it.
Each season lasts for 2 weeks in my games. I would prefer 1 week each but I can’t squeeze all of the holidays I have set up in such a short amount of time unfortunately.
I frequent another website that does have an ignore feature. Anyone can see a thread you create, and only if the other person also puts you on ignore are you two no longer able to see each other's content. There are no issues. You can tell when a comment is made by someone you have on ignore because there is a banner above…
I'm comparing the way the ignore feature works on this forum compared to how it works on other forums, even those without complete 'block' features. There's a lack of personalization / customization up here in my opinion. The only true feature we have is the ability to favorite certain forums so that threads in your feed…
So I am expected to know every single username on my ignore list so that I 'remember' to avoid each and every thread they create? Last I checked, the ignore list can hold 100 users. That doesn't sound the least bit unreasonable to you?
Threads made by users you have on ignore do not show up as "hidden" like their regular posts. They show up just like any other thread, visible. Only their additional comments in their thread are hidden. That is the only way for you to know if you have the thread starter on ignore. It's easy to mistakenly comment in a…
I manually do this. I downloaded a holiday tradition mod and set it for the full 2 weeks of summer so children and teens don’t have school. I would love to be able to do this without the need for mods.
I use MCCC and have my rules set up so Sims who are just acquaintances with 0 in the friendship or relationship bars will be auto deleted from my relationship panel. But Sims who have negative relationships and positive relationships will remain. So my Sims can keep their besties and enemies and gfs and whatever. Lol just…
If you like mods, your Sims can have some out of wedlock babies living in other households and with MCCC installed they will pay an exorbitant amount in child support. That money will dwindle down fairly quickly.
