  • AH I can't believe I've missed two builds. The pirate one seemed so cool! (I still might build one for myself anyways) Sorry guys I was just so busy with final exams and papers. :( Everyone's designs were so creative I love them all! <3 The huge sci-fi fan that I am, I've never actually seen any star wars film. I will try…
  • @fabtiffsim Great idea having a separate page for the results, it makes everything more organized! Thanks to all for the lovely and detailed comments, and thank you @carolynrosser for being a great guest judge! Looking forward to the next rounds! :)
  • Lovely Atlantis build @Haids5987 ! I love how you made it an arts centre, making it a relaxing public space! The design is great, very airy and open with the balconies, and the water surrounding makes it seem like its on its own island. The temple is great, and the flooring is especially well done! Great build!
  • Haha thanks @Ainsleyf ! Ya the build took a long time. I definitely lost patience at the end there though. Some of the rooms are minimally decorated, like the temple, so I didn't take pictures of those

  • Hey guys thanks for the tips about the secret lots! I'll be definitely checking these out.
  • @Ainsleyf Your build is so magical and lovely! Fantastic design of the building, the docks, the patio, the multiple towers and the secret cave, its great! I love how you used those big white/blue gem windows to cover the build, that makes it look so otherworldly (I seriously get an Atlantain vibe and definitely not modern)…
  • @carolynrosser I love how you built something actually in the water, that's so cool, it never occurred to me. Really creative! @Ainsleyf WOW this is stunning. like jaw dropping gorgeous. Its so elegant, like it rose out of the water one magical day! @JosieAnglin very cool build! I love the gates for the city, and the…
  • oh my god @fabtiffsim are you psychic? I've been slowly building Atlantis for days now, and I was low-key hoping that it would be the next challenge so that I could enter it. You just made my day. :) This is fantastic!
  • @carolynrosser your build is so creative! I love how you used the windows to create the feeling of stone walls for the home, and the little art things to make the "cave paintings". great ideas! All the animal based technology is fantastic. my favourite has to be the giraffe holding a hose for the shower. oh and amazing…
  • @Ainsleyf love love love the ducklings thanks so much for sharing that! @carolynrosser OMG that's so cool you're an author! I am definitely finding your book and reading it. I work at a book store and I love reading everything. Just like you @Ainsleyf I've started writing parts of books myself, but I never find the time to…
  • @Ainsleyf Your cathedral is so perfect for Halloween! spooky and eerie! The gargoyle peering down from above? Honestly too intimidating. He looks like he's about to jump down and devour my soul.... The front side gorgeous anyways. I can't wait to see the rest of it!
  • @FoundMarbles You can officially only have 4 floors with complete walls and ceilings. BUT, you can put the patio thing on top floor, creating a 5th floor "room", which can support friezes, fences, columns, whatever you want, it'll just lack actual walls and a ceiling.
  • 100% agree!!! Here I am building a gothic cathedral, or even a castle, and I don't have spiral stairs!? its so disappointing. Regular stairs take up too much room and are super awkward to place sometimes. Not to mention when they don't fit the aesthetic. :( Aww thanks @rosemow Love reading your comments as always :)

  • haha yes thanks @FoundMarbles !! I love the looking up shot you took. It makes your cathedral seem massive and impressive, which in my experience all ancient fancy cathedrals were built in that intimidating fashion. Using the 1X1 rooms kind of like columns adds some great depth to your exterior walls as well! Your…
  • Super work @FoundMarbles !!! Yup the wallpapers were a great choice, and the whole place has an elegant feel. I would love to see some close up shots of the exterior!
  • Since we are in the spirit of Greek mythology, I thought I would share this statue I once made instead of an official build entry. Meet Medusa's second cousin: The Golden Gorgon! https://www.thesims.com/gallery/D87433DC7F7811E781E8878F2FBA529B
  • @pammiechick oh hahaha thank you. I wasn't aware of that rule (I'm fairly new to these forum threads) , but I really appreciate your nomination for my build! <3
  • Hey guys, I've been overwhelmed with school at the moment (all those readings I'm still procrastinating as well :s ) so I definitely won't have time to enter this challenge. All my ideas require a minimum 50x50 lot and I know I wont be happy with a scaled down version. Anyways, I've had a blast looking at your mythical…
  • Whoa! This is such a creative competition idea! Honestly it sounds really cool. I think I'll give this one a go :)
  • Hey @fabtiffsim I have a question. I once built a large Athenian city, and for this upcoming challenge are we allowed to "recycle" past builds? I would still have to change it slightly to be more Mount Olympus-like. If not, no worries, I can make something entirely new
  • oh my goodness @Ainsleyf. Your build is incredible! The colours are so majestic and magical (and great choice using the night shots, it really pops!), you made such cool designs using the wall lights, the towers are amazing (seriously love those), and overall fantastic layout. Even if you have haven't completely finished…
  • @folala Very lovely build! I love the swampy nature of the land, and how the homes seamlessly are integrated to the landscape. It all looks so natural, that I could be hiking one day and just stumble upon these cute little elves and their homes. Great work! @leashahampton Very creative and colourful take on the theme! I'm…
  • @Twiggy Super cool build! Great work on it! You're right, the purple/turquoise lighting really makes the night shots mystical! Love the skylights, that's a really cool touch, and the flooring in the dining room is awesome! Its a beautiful magical elven build Also don't worry, I once forgot to use the hashtag too.
  • @carolynrosser OH MY GOSH I love your build so much! I completely forgot that Christmas elves are actually elves. Its such a creative spin on the challenge! (and considering that Santa and elves are ancient beings themselves, I think that this does qualify for the challenge!) I LOVE THE CC. I am always hesitant to use it,…
  • Thanks @FoundMarbles and @rosemow! Yes I'll admit this build took many days. I'm mostly relieved that it's finally done
  • Hey all, I would like to recommend my most recent build: Royal Elven Estate https://www.thesims.com/gallery/0D2B605B86AA11E78F954A8459A38E7F Thank you!

  • @FoundMarbles whoa. At first I was like where is the build?, it's just a forest, and then I realized it's part of the forest. Super job! I love how the integration of housing and nature is so peaceful and harmonious. Great work!
