I think this change might mean they will be focusing less on stuff packs and more on expansion packs and game packs, at least that is what I am hoping for. And stuff packs were the most numerous, so less stuff packs would obviously mean that there won't be something new every month.

I was wondering about these too. I really hope they will show us soon. Makes me wonder if our Sims will be able to celebrate something silly like Toilet Day and appreciate the toilet... I would so make them do that!

I would like to see recorders, saxophones, French horns and other new instruments. The other ideas in this thread also sound wonderful. I especially like playing as a teacher, superheroes, amusement parks and preteens.

Parenthood really did a wonderful job already and helped to differentiate teens from adults, but I don't think it is enough. The fact that there is no sunburn just means there is no effect on the skin that makes it look like sunburn. Sim can, as has been confirmed, overheat, which can have deadly consequences. So it is not like there is no reaction at all to hot weather.

I just thought of the same idea and I am glad I found this topic. It is a great idea to assign NPC roles to townies. It would provide a greater sense of continuity, something I think the Sims 4 is currently lacking. It would also give us more power over who is playing which role, which is great for storytellers.

I think the colour could pass for both Christmas green and summer green, so I like it. It is different enough from the green used for stuff packs, otherwise it would get confused.

I am also missing a way to notify me when Sims are dying. It is such a small thing and I really don't understand why it isn't there. Thank you for answering. I think you misread my post, or otherwise I wasn't clear enough. I was talking about block models. Every time a new block model is needed, it is considered a new object by the developers. This has actually been confirmed by SimGuruGraham in the thread I referred to.
