Hello, I recently began using mods and cc in the Sims 4 and I am having some issues with it. I deleted all of my prior content and began to redownload new items, however, this time I am organizing my content into subfolders within the Mods folder. For example The Sims 4>Mods>Women's Hair.I also downloaded the updated resource.cfg file that allows multiple subfolders.<br /> <br /> When I opened the game, none of my custom content or mods appeared. I have everything enabled in my game options. Can anyone help me with this issue? It's extremely frustrating to spend time downloading so much content and not being able to use it. Thanks!

      Hello
Try moving your whole mods folder to the desktop. Launch the game, and a new mods folder should be generated in the sims 4 folder. Check that the new mods folder is generated.
If it isn’t, do you use One Drive? If you do it could be causing this issue, Try seeing if there is a mods folder in One Drive . The game may be using that mods folder instead of the one in Documents -Electronic Arts -sims 4 folder . One Drive can cause issues,
If you don’t use One Drive, try using the search bar on your computer , and search to see if there may be another mods folder on your computer that the game is using instead of the one directly in the sims 4 folder.

I am just checking. Make sure that you have extracted the package files out of the zipped folder or the rar file, if they come in zipped or rar formats. The package files then go into the mods folder. The zipped or rar files can’t be placed in the mods folder

With script mods, they can’t be more than one folder level down in your mods folder. You need to place the script mods either directly into the mods folder, or only in one level/folder in the mods folder.
For example, with the MCCC mod you can have
      Documents-Electronic Arts -Sims 4 -mods-MCCC
But you can’t have Documents-Electronic Arts -Sims 4 -mods- Script mods- MCCC
