So I was going to play Sims tonight for the first time in a couple months because I was missing it, and it loaded up quicker than usual with no option to play as an existing household, just the option to create a new household. It also asked me if I wanted the tutorial so I was like hmmm this is strange, so I exited the game and checked up on the Sims 4 folder. My saves folder is completely empty. (I'm on a mac)
PS My dad recently cleaned out the computer and did stuff with icloud but he said he didn't touch anything Sims related because he knows how much this game means to me.
Also, all of my custom content was gone out of my mods folder but we found out that that was relocated to "downloads" because he used disk utility which apparently sorts, moves and deletes files. So I'm thinking it might've relocated or deleted all of my saves.
Please help I've been in tears about this just thinking about all the hours I've put into this game and that it could be all gone
