Four months is too old to "revive" a thread now?? I understand the idea of keeping things "relevant", but my goodness, from October to February? I often take a break from sim things over the holidays, and catch up on things I missed--that would be considered "necroposting?" I don't mean to be difficult, but that seems downright tyrannical. If someone posts on a old-ish thread, it's probably because there was something relevant there, and they didn't want to make a new thread because that's considered rude usually because it clutters up the forums. So, we can't post new threads on topics that have been brought up before, but we also now can't posts on those old threads if they haven't been in circulation...for a semester???
Again, I'm not trying to be rude, I'm just genuinely concerned about the implications of this policy, if that's how it's going to be implemented.
