It’s a good thing too. The internet can be dangerous sometimes; she clearly cares about your safety (also on here I’m definite there’s a rule that we aren’t allowed to state our age). And with the makeup thing, they’ll end up being jealous when they start getting pimples and your skin is nice and clear. 😉
When I was in middle school a long time ago, my mom wouldn't let me wear make-up. It wasn't until I got into high school that I was allowed to wear it. She used to go out and buy me the make-up kits instead of separate eyes shadows and lipsticks/gloss/blushes. The kits had the brushes and applicators in them.
My guess is that your mother is just afraid of you growing up too fast for her and that she wants you to enjoy your younger years before trying to act all grown-up. She could also be worried about you applying way too much make-up and how others would react to that.
I'm sure that she's only looking out for your best interest... :)
I got my first youtube channel when i was still a kid... I think it depends on what kind of content you're posting. All i did was CAS videos. Maybe your mother would let you start with that and when you're older you could do LP's? :)
