    Rumor: University?

    There's a rumor I've seen going around that University is the next expansion. I do not know if this is true or not. Has anyone run across this as well?

      Yeah, but rumour has it that rumours are horrible things to rely on... Which makes me wonder if the rumour about the rumour was.......

      University was hinted at at the Maxis live broadcast. The video is here: http://www.origin.com/maxis-live

      For the new SP, they had three people walk in dressed from the three decades. And towards the end they had a tiger "mascot" and guy dressed in a cap and gown run across the stage. So that's basically hinting at it.

      Then they go onto say, "I think those guys belong back in University".

      Lol, its all in good fun. People have been asking for University, so I guess it is just that time now.

      Listings for The Sims 3: University have been popping up on different game websites as well.

      And once that has happened in the past, the game was released several months later - sometimes the dates were a little off but it happened with both Supernatural and Seasons. It's not officially confirmed, but it is practically all but official that University is coming next.

      I say practically and all but because until it's officially confirmed it's not definite.
      It's kind of sad that I have to point out that anything I say is only just my opinion and may be a different one from someone else.

      It will be University, I guess around Feb/March.

      I think it's even not a rumor but a coming fact. I remember a Spanish retailer site listed University and the release date is March 7. So it maybe comes out on March 5 in North America and A&P. :D

      Supernatural and Season were started as rumors too. And yes, I think University is a confirmed rumor :wink:.
