    India Inspirations Collection

There are 6 full outfits featured in this collection that are not pictured as being part of the India Inspirations Clothing and Hairstyles set; but they are in the set picture.

I already have the full collection so I have no way to verify if the 6 outfits: Indo-Western Chic Set, Indo-Western Silk Dress, Modern Evening Sari,
Traditional Summer Sari, Indo-Western Sherwani Suit, Sherwani Dress Outfit: are indeed left out of the clothing set if it is purchased separately.

Before I figured out what I was doing, I purchased the India Inspirations Clothing and Hairstyles set separately and I can confirm that it does include the extra 6 items that aren't listed in the set but are part of the India Inspirations Collection. They don't show up as owned in the store but they are installed in game.

I was wondering if there is any way to buy Barnacle Free Staircase and Jacob's staircase. Since I already owned Barnacle Bay and the Buccaneer's Bounty before the Complete Barnacle Bay Adventure! came out, I didn't think that to spend $19.99 (now $14.60 in Amazon) for two staircases was a good idea.

Sorry I can't help you, but I was wondering if BB were to show up on the DD or if I were to use a code, would it now come with the Buccaneer's Bounty set and the two staircases?

Joolster, are you confirming to me that the venue items have always been available in the game's store? I haven't been able to use the online features including the in-game store lately. I keep getting logged out, and then the game tries to get me logged in again, and then I get logged out again, and so on, and it interrupts me from playing. I can't get anything done when I try to log in anymore, so I've stopped logging in when I play.

Mmdrgntobldrgn, I too can confirm that those pieces come with the set, even though they may say otherwise. I'll be adding that soon.

Meganne79, I do believe that they changed Barnacle Bay a while back. When I first bought the code almost a year ago, I couldn't find Barnacle Bay in the store. I was really upset by that, but eventually forgot about it, but then I checked again in probably a month, and there, I found it. I tried checking on a link for Jacob's Staircase from one of my old tree houses (found on studio), and it just takes me to the complete Barnacle Bay Adventure page. What I can suggest for now is to try re-downloading it, and installing that.

sims96fan, I'm sure that they removed the old one. I'm sure the code I got was meant for the old one, because by the time I bought the code, the Barnacle Bay page had already vanished. But like I said, I entered the code again later, and what I got included the two stair cases. Hmm. Maybe I should make a note of this in the OP. I'll wait and hear back from Meganne79 first.

I know you can no longer purchase BB in the store except via the BB simpoint package, but you can purchase BB via Origin and other places and receive the download code. What I meant was does that code give you the complete package now with BB, Buccaneer's Bounty, and the 2 staircases? Thanks!

sims96fan, you can also get it from the store, but not in the normal way. You have to go to the Buy SimPoints page and you should see the Barnacle Bay set available there, that gives you all that you mentioned, along with 100 SimPoints, which makes it actually $19 if you consider the 100 points as a discount (depending on where you live). But this may not be the best deal, though, because Meganne mentioned seeing it now $14.60 in Amazon. It's possible that all BB codes come equipped with the Buccaneer's Bounty set and the 2 staircases now. We'll see what Meganne says.

After reading the reviews in Amazon, it would seem that the code is for the new version, the one that includes the stairs. The problem is that the description of the product does not reference Buccaneer's Bounty Set nor the staircases. Long story short: I don't know :(

Yes some, I don't know which, but they pop up randomly. I can guarantee you a person bought the Atomic Age Spring Ride and Zephman Spring Ride separately through the in-game store, those items are otherwise unattainable unless you buy the entire Regency Arcade.

    Here's a thread about it: http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/posts/list/571309.page

And I can also attest to getting the Tiki Outdoor Party hottub on its own (I did get it for free because it was a glitch, just like the Casino items were free for a day. That being said, the fact they were free was a bug, not the fact they were in the store separately.) The hottub is otherwise not attainable unless you buy a compilation containing the Tiki Outdoor Party set, or the set on its own.

I also saw the individual hibiscus bushes for 175 pts each in the in-game store, they only come in the set of 3 for 500 pts in the online store.

Right, Joolster. When I checked, the oldest hot tub I could find was the Viva Las Vegas one. So I guess they didn't start making them available in the online store separately until then. All the older ones, like the one you mentioned and the Future Shock one may be found only in the game.
I'll be working on that soon.

I purchased my copy of Barnacle Bay from Amazon a few months back for 7$ as a new sealed package. Came overpacked in a cd case containing only two pieces of paper one being the typical EA ad for other sims product and the other having the code. Redeemed code in the 'Redeem a Code' segment of the 'my store account' page. This is a 4 part code entry space as opposed to the 5 part codes for game registration. The code was successful and a few minutes later, my purchase history had the full barnacle Bay, including Buccaneer's Bounty and the staircases. It did not include the extra 100SP from the store simpoint deal, but at less then half the cost I didn't miss those points.

    Hope this info helps.

Back on topic: Love this list! Even if it did explode my WL. It's also gaining handy info for the distant future on which sets to *not* break down. Assuming I ever actually run out of under 100sp items again.

This needs to go back to unresolved. Someone :x decided to make a whole bunch of sets vanish from the store. Here's the current thread on the issue

:( For now, I'm just annoyed. I've seen sets disappear from the store before, only to have them go back in less than 24 hours. I'll give it 48, and then I'll make changes if necessary. Then I'll be upset.

:x Okay, upset about the missing sets now. I had to remove the Year of the Tiger from the list. It didn't quite belong there, anyway, since both the set and every item from it were available from store. Keyword: were.

On another note, the new DD Rotation has single items now and could potentially include set-only items, so I'm keeping an eye on it, but wouldn't mind some help. What I would need help with though, are set-only items available in game. My game update won't install, for some reason. I'm trying to figure it out now, but know that my information about in-game availability may now be out-of-date.

I'm bumping this up by demand.

I'm not seeing the Thermal Sanitarium in game anymore, so I guess I'll go update.

Holy wow. Why did you have you to make this list!?!?! I'm going to be spending a fortune on simpoints. *Sigh*

    Ok, you're forgiven!!!

Thank you for all the work that you've put into this. Amazing job. Will be taking advantage of all the excellent things that you've pointed out! :)

Hey, I noticed that some stuff is missing the "available in online store" icon. Micro-Grotto hottub, as we already discussed.

Then pretty much the entire Regency Arcade set is ALWAYS in separates for me everytime I enable the online store too, door, window, arch, firepit, human statue, dog statue, plant, the spring rides etc.

    Updated! Thanks Joolster! :)

Edit: Are the casino items still available? And the other basketball PC?
