hi! just wanted some opinions so i am going to sling some off my creations out here for you guys to see... I hope that's ok..... sorry that i posted a lot...so am i good? just haven't been on here for like a year and wanted to see if my style is hip! lolz
I love this one. It looks very grand. The landscaping is very well done.
Also nicely done, although, I'm not liking the valley between the two roofs.
I like this one. Did you try a flat roof on it? That might look nice with a balcony instead of the half hipped roof in the front.
Very nice. I love the black and white contrast. It looks very sharp.
I like this one too. I've never liked that stone much, but it looks good with that green siding.
Your builds look very nice. You do the landscaping very well. Are they up on the exchange? Do you have interior pics anywhere? Love to see more.

Here are some pics. of a Victorian house I started to build.
The last pic. is the upstairs. I know I want to make three of the rooms bedroom & there are two baths. The room in the middle & the room at the far right are big. I am not sure what I want to do with them.

I like the layout of the house. The mansard roof on the main house and over the tall tower might look good with detail like this. The tower might also look better a little taller.
I'm finding the combination of colours on the exterior don't really work well together. The light brown of the chimney, decking and fencing around the deck seems too different from the red of the siding. I like the detail under the deck. The windows are too close in colour to the siding and disappear. I think the top of the mansard would look better the same colour as the roof when you finalize the roof colour. The chimneys are too low. I suggest placing the fireplaces after the roof is up. I'm not really liking that colour chimney, but I'll wait to see what colour you are going to go with for the exterior.
I like the room layout inside the house. I have noticed the stairs though. Have you play tested them. It look like you have one set of stairs going up to a third floor right on top of the set coming up to the second floor.
I built stairs like that, one on top of the other, and the Sim could go one way on the stairs but stamped their feet when asked to go the other.
There are a lot of things you could do with the two rooms. Possibly a play room, craft room or music room. If you have a family you are going to play in this house, you could let them decide by what they wish to buy. I'm looking forward to seeing your progress.

thank you for all the kind words! I am trying out a new interior design style and when i get it finished id love to post it here.....can id do that?
From the outside of your buildings and lots, I agree with MerryWidow, I think it's quite fantastic!
Your type of creativity is what I'm always looking for on my website!

You should show some pictures of the inside as well!
wow your site is amazing  !....I will share some pics asap!
You have some lovely interiors there. I love the colour combinations. The only suggestion I have is regarding the lamps in the pic above. Even though they are different styles they can be used in a room together, but would look more cohesive if the shades were the same.
Wow you sure like your monochromatic colour schemes! Well done too.
My favourite would have to be the bold orange curtains in the dining area... (Maybe it's because I like the colour orange)
And the blue kitchen is nice and spacious... and what makes a space bigger than it is, LIGHT colours. Brilliant mate.
Was it on purpose at all?
In the picture with the two living chairs and the costume chest.... You used green as your colour scheme, and since green is a cool colour, you emphasized that the brown parts of the furniture were also a "cool" brown.... It has a deep town to it. (Tone=when you add grey to a hue/colour)
The living is orange too haha. I don't get the blue lamp though.... (Orange and blue are complementary colours)But i don't see a lot of blue around in that specific picture...
And I don't really understand the function of the curtains at mid-legnth with the windows. I wouldn't want people to see my calves through the window
You should join the forums on my site!!
Also, I'm going to make another banner, so that it is sized appropriately to the forums, so be on the lookout for that!

DO you use houseplans?[/quote] lol never thought of the curtain length...and the rest of the living room has lots of blue...just couldn't get my camera turned around to it.....and i just wing it when it comes to creating... and thank you MerryWiddow I love getting feed back....
I would love to see how Gold Coast is doing but I can't seem to get on the site right now. Something is blocking me and I can only get on with my phone.
here are some pictures of my somewhat latest build..... my computer crashed before I could save and export... So I've technically got only the garage done...
That is a shame Paublo about your computer crashed. I really liked your house. what size lot was it on ? I really like the Open Concept for your Living, Kitchen , Dinning Rooms. Your colors in the Bedroom are very nice. I've never used a Horizontal Strip on a wall but it looks great in the Bedroom.
where did you get the lovely picture of the couple on the Living room wall ?

OUCH ... Well what you had was fabulous! Perhaps you can recreate it even better? Glad you got your account issues squared away.

I have to keep notes because I belong to so many different sites.
This is my first world and I'm still learning. So quite awhile yet until I finish Gold Coast. It doesn't help that I keep taking breaks to play.
