Werewolf NOT Transforming

Okay, so I made a male sim that became a werewolf via elixir. I also tried to make a werewolf via Create-A-Sim. All the other supernatural creatures on my game work, but the werewolves. I click the transform button for my werewolf sims, but just as the action goes to the queue in the upper left corner of my screen, it blinks away and the action isn't fulfilled! I do this over and over!!!!! But it doesn't work...Is anyone else having this problem, is my game faulty or do I just need to dump some CC or re-do a setting on my game? Please help!!!!! This makes me very very sad

I had the same issue with my supernatural game, In the end I brought an elixr from the consignment shop and my sim finally transformed on the fullmoon and I can now change him when I want,
by the way did you create the elix or did you buy it?? because I found I had to buy the elixr for my sim to transform (at first anyway, my werewolves work now)
