Not sure how it could be an aquarium without adding more then 2 premium objects or else having a lot that had very little on it to make it one. I think too many new objects with new animations would be required. Very little parking for an aquarium.
I am not too sure about a water park either, although it makes more sense if there are new pool premium objects. I would rather have pool items then a couple of new very large fish tanks
Very little parking for a water park too. Then again TS3 towns usually have no parking issues no matter how few spaces are available. Water parks are usually outdoors although I know of one that is indoors and one in a mall.
If it is some pool objects which tatertots blog seems to hint at, a hotel or resort or something like that could be what it is.
If nothing else its been a great hint and fun trying to figure out! Much more fun then just leaking exactly what it is
After the somewhat cryptic clue given, my best guess is a pool bar, maybe in a hotel. I know years ago when I vacationed in Jamica, the hotel had a pool bar and wow, so much fun. Keeping fingers crossed now.
In my house, dog hair sticks to everything but the dog.
I want an aquarium so I can make like my sims are on a vacation. I want it to be much bigger then the one in late night. Something similar to what you'd see at Seaworld.
We need a vacation expansion pack altogether don't you agree.

The wall behind the octopus "tower" appears to me to be a brise soleil which is a common architectural element in South Florida, parts of the Caribbean and Mediterranean used primarily on houses and hotels/motels. Then again, I could just be seeing what is familiar to me and not what is actually there.
If I had to hazard a guess, I would have to go with some sort of short or long term domicile. It does resemble a number of older hotels and apartment buildings I saw in parts of Florida and the Caribbean.
It could be. The new set of stuff that comes as a prize for buying bundles was hotel furniture, was it not? So it could be a hotel (plus the fact that casinos often have hotels attached. I may be stretching it a little) Plus people were speculating about maybe diving boards coming back, and hotels often have pools for the kids. With diving boards, maybe.
Next time Store team just wrap me up before you start playing with me. Sigh.
LOL That was funny!!!
(and to edit: my guess is a non-functional hotel with the pool related premium items. By non-functional, I just mean no checkin desk or room selection type stuff.)

It's definitely not just you seeing this. I see it, too, and I'm not terribly familiar with that particular style of architecture. That's part of where I got the Caribbean thing from.
I may also just be really in the mood for something summer-y in the store. Like pool stuff and Caribbean buildings.
My last guess before the sets go up tomorrow, technically later today for my time zone. But anyway my final guess is one of the premium content items is going to be a wave machine, so the lot is water-related.
I think the premium items will be a wave machine and surf board. Well, I hope. I hate speculating, want answers. Well will wait until tomorrow, nothing else I can do.
Nothing to see. I don't even care about the forums.

In the sims 2 console the surf board was part of the wave machine. Sims would whip out a surfboard and start surfing. I'm hoping it will be part of the object rather then a 2nd one so we can get something else as a 2nd premium object.
The Diving Board and Water Slide will have to wait and be in Seasons.
We will find out tomorrow when I wake up.... Hopefully, some people don't buy it for themselves and not get gifted *crosses fingers to wake up on time*
As much as it drives me crazy not knowing, I actually really have LOVED speculating with people, reading others' thoughts, etc. I like this kind of stuff, but I'm pretty darn excited about finding out what it is.
Although, as much as I'd love an open restaurant of any type, I doubt I'll buy it if this is the case, at least right away. I have lots of other things I want more than a restaurant, like the spellbook and library and the other world sets (especially the African, Cambodian, and Indian stuff).
I'd get it eventually, but I wouldn't be jumping all over it eagerly like I would if it's something super summer-y with pool PC.

It doesn't look like were going to see anymore hints either so we'll probebly have to wait till noon eastern tomorrow to find out what it is.

It's because of that surfing fountain I'm holding out hope that it will be water related! I can't wait until tomorrow
