    Overwriting game?

    Sorry if this is the wrong section... anyway my friend was at my house and accidently overwrote my old game. I know the game hasn't been out that long and it's not like a lost a whole bunch but i really would like to be able to get it back. I have already tried system restore to a prior date and it did not work.

      In the My Documents/Electronic Arts/Sims 3 folder, go into the Saved games folder and see if there is a neighborhood file with the "backup" extension. Delete the one just like it except without "backup". And then remove the word "backup" from the saved file and you should get your old game back.
