    went back to have a look-see at the old TS2 BBS forum, and I just remembered about benes... what a big thing it was back then... :lol: Do we have that here in the TS3 forum? Well, anyway, have a bene! :wink:

      I remember that! There was competitions like "First prize is five benes!" or some would just give them out randomly, like little Bene fairies.

      LOL! I remember those and the random threads about how one is supposed to pronounce it. I was one who contended, since it was essentially a shortened term for benefits, it should be pronounced, Bens or Bennies. (However, that suggests another connotation altogether! Oopsie, not exactly kid friendly, either. :oops: ) Others chose to pronounce it as beans. LOL Either way, it's too bad they were left behind. Oh, well.

      I never participated in the Sims 2 forums, since I had the slowest internet know to mankind (seriously, the Sims 2 webpage would take 5 minutes to load) and I mostly lurked ^_^

      I remember that I received a bene, following the delay in the TS3 release date announcement. I voiced my opinion on how that the delay wasn't the end of the world, and how Simmers should be doing better things than getting angry on a message board. Oh how times have changed...

      Got it! That's a weird name for it though. My favorite fashion forum has karma that each member can give each other.
