    ok, cheats for sims3

    I can't enable the ctrl shift c mode to enter cheats.
    and i remember reading on the sims2 board that vista uses this as a shortcut for a certain program. it has to be changed for it to work in sims.

    can someone tell me what that vista program it is?

      Whoever said Vista uses it as a shortcut for something either lied or the program is not a default one. It works just fine on mine. Maybe you're resolution is off and part of the screen is getting cut off, making it where you can't see the console. Try changing the resolution and see if it works then.

      I will definitely try that, but it worked before.
      I believe it's the Help Center in Vista.
      There's a checkbox that must be *unchecked*.

      Yea i want cheat codes also lol but i hardly use them for it takes awy the fun lol. I only use cheat codes only if i need too asap but thats rare for me but still would like to know what they are or know me i just get the book.
