    Could Use Some Hugs Or Laughs - Horrible Day :(

    I don't expect gifts...just need to vent. It was a rough day for many reasons. Medical Stuff, Stress, Irritating People etc...There's more but I won't bore ya with details. Sends some laughs or something my way if ya can..thanks :)

      I am sorry you had such a bad day.

      Had my head knocked off by GreatBigSea, he threw a bed at me! So my day could have been bad, but I have a new toy to play with. :D
      Nothing to see. I don't even care about the forums.

      Tell me about. There are some (but not many, don't worry I'm not depressed) days when I just wanna crawl in bed and sleep for a week, let my troubles go away. But alas i have no choice but to face them. So to cheer you up I'll leave you with not a joke, but rather an anti joke:


      why was the boy so upset?

      Because there was a frog stapled to his face. :lol:

      Thank you <3 that kitty is very cute. yay for new toys but oh boy getting hit with beds leaves major bumps *gives you some advil & an icepack*

      I know what you mean. I've had a rough week, too, but some simmers here on the forums have cheered me up a lot. I hope things get better for you soon! *Hugs*

      LOL that actually made me laugh a lot :) thank you! I'm usually quite happy and have been doing really really well even medically but long story short I've dealt with a disrespectful over demanding seeking attention 5 yr old cousin, had rude people @ the mall (even running in front of my chair & abruptly stopping to stare), not a lot of sleep = pain, stress, feeling blah and frustrated. Anyways I'm feeling a bit better. Hope you do too

      This is a true story that I hope doesn't loose any of it's appeal in typed form

      When my dad was a kid, he was fast. And I mean fast! But, he was also cocky.

      One day while staying at his uncles house, his uncle bet him that he could run around the house on one leg half the time and beet him. His uncle was fast, but not as fast as my dad, much less hopping on one leg so of course my dad took the bet. Being as cocky as he was my dad also agreed to let his uncle have a head start to the first turn.

      His sister came outside to watch. Off went his uncle. As soon as he made it to the first turn, my dad took off, not even running at full speed until he reached the corner to give his uncle a fair shot.

      Rounding the second corner, his uncle had a big lead. My dad picked up the pace to watch his uncle try to hop to victory. To his surprise, his uncle continued to run at full speed. My dad began running as fast as he could to try to catch up to his uncle, but it was too late. His uncle crossed the finish-line first.

      Out of breath and fit to be tied, my dad hollered at his uncle, "You cheated."

      His uncle looked at him and said, "Now what did I say?"

      "You said that you could beet me in a race around the house on one foot half the time," my dad replied, "but you never were on one foot."

      Smiling back at my dad, his uncle said, "I was on one foot half the time. And I was on the other foot the other half!"

      Goes to show you that brains beet brawn every time :mrgreen:
