brilliant that list of commandments made me chuckle, but what are these abreviations such as moo and WIP etc?
Hi! I'm glad I made you laugh (which was the main point of my post).
In answer to your questions:
1. MOO (Move Objects On which refers to a favorite builder's cheat, you should turn it off after use as it is known to cause routing errors if you try to play the game while the cheat is on);
2. WIP (Work in Progress, lots of builders make work in progress threads, both to let friends know what they are working on and to get advice if there is a need)
3. CFE (Constrain Floor Elevation cheat, another builder's favorite but a dangerous one, nothing can so wreck a house! SO, you save BEFORE you use it in case something bad happens.)
11. Thou Shall Do Thy OWN Work; Thee Shall Not Steal the Work of Thy Neighbor, Paint the Barn, and Call it Thy Own
Amen to all, especially #11.
YES! Thanks, Sierra! I am amazed at the number of people who don't think they've done anything wrong if they re-uload someone else's work as their own if they have made a few changes to it. I've had two friends in the last month with work stolen. VERY upsetting and sad.
What does someone get out of getting a compliment for something they KNOW they didn't make??
I ended up with some Sims in my game who didn't have DEFECTIVE CC, but it was attached to the Sim (and hidden, so there was no way to delete it OR to know you had it without Custard). Custard could tell you that you had CC, but if you removed it with Custard, your lot wouldn't upload. VERY annoying.
Might I add an amendment to that save recommendation... save multiple copies! That way, if something goes horribly wrong, you can go back to an earlier save, too.

That's good advice! The only reason I didn't add it to begin with is I can't find a way to write it that reads as well. I was TRYING to be funny (as well as somewhat helpful).

Hi, Bellili! A friend on my build team said this once and I thought how right that was the minute I heard it! Hope you're having a good day!
