Viper Valley: a Post Apocalyptic world ready for you to conquer and enjoy

Viper Valley is a large world with 22 residential lots, all rabbit holes and community lots on an additional 32 spaces, including Ambitions career and special lots. There isn't a whole lot there as far as eye candy, and collectibles are widely spaced and hard to find. This world is intended to be used as an integral part of a challenge that I just posted, though someone who enjoys redecorating should be able to make it work well for their tastes.

It is bare and burned out, it looks desolate and stripped of hope. It is, indeed, the only place left where Simkind can rebuild a new Similization.

Thanks for posting the challenge. :). Just wanted to tell you that I can see the junkyard from mapview now. I also have the trees (those weren't in my game before, don't know why), and none of the sand looks weird or pixalated on lots from map view.

Overall, you did an excellent job on this world. :D

I just downloaded this world. I like it. It's definitely different than your run of the mill green world! I like stuff that resembles Strangetown. I heard you were modeling the land after viper valley neighborhood template from sims 2.

Anyhow I love the desolate Big world. I wish I could really scroll out far enough to see the whole thing at once. Love the bunkers, Great job

I'll probably spiff it up a bit with houses and stuff. Been meaning to make sim-aliens.

Whoa, your pics look like you definitely captured desolate, lol.

I read about 1/2 through the rules and knew I would never stick with the challenge but can certainly appreciate the time and energy you've put into this.

I'm beta testing another world right now but I just may have to come back and download this one. I love desert environments and it looks like it would be a good challenge for me just to spruce it up without all the restrictions :) Good job!

It is a random event that was added in with one of the first two expansions. Ambitions I think. First time it happened to me, I was flabberghasted!

Pay attention to your notifications. You will get a warning (so and so notices a large shadow - or something like that) in plenty of time to run your sims out of harm's way.

    God Bless,
    mik
